I love the Bee!

Now that is one big ugly fish.

Yes, it is.

Doesn’t look like fun to me.

Great idea!

I loved this book as a child.

That can be pretty bad.

Probably not the first time this has happened …

Just because.

Cute idea!

Another place I’d like to visit.

And another place that beckons.

In Scotland, I could visit this place.

I just bought Heidi for my granddaughter. She asked for books to keep at my house for her visits. I got several more of my childhood favorites. I also loved the Melendy kids books, and I think I have one or two of them somewhere.

So many good people in the world. Thank you for the beautiful paintings, and the reminder of Otis. Oh, yeah, and the critters.

Oh, to go see the fjords. In my dreams.
That fish! Quite scary looking. Would love to try out the “cuddly” part, though.
Heidi – Shirley Temple – used to play on TCM, from time to time. Loved the book. Were there not a couple three Heidi books?

In Scotland we lived on The Firth of Forth. Right next to The Rosyth Royal Naval Shipyards.
I remember my Doctor’s name was Colin Firth, lol! It was a magical place, but the WIND!
