What a good and understanding sweetheart of a friend!
Just because I’m in a nutty mood today, I clicked on “Search Google for this image” to see what would pop up. They suggest the dog is a whippet and also give the name of the painting, “Purple Dog”, and the artist, Dan Engh.
She looks Chihuahua-mix to me.
