Good News!! (& happy stories), April 7, 2020

Because it is good news, and deserves repeating!

The Governor of New Jersey.

More lives will be saved.

It’s nice to have a dog to hug.

Life continues to march on!

Wow.

Guardedly good news. I have read that some believe that oxygen treatment is the way to go, and that ventilators may cause more problems in certain cases.

Life continues …

There is still so much beauty in the world!

PSA …

More animal hijinks!

Good news for animals! (cute puppy)

Charlie’s prayer.

Have a happy day!

So India’s ‘agreed’ to supply the US with more hydroxychloroquine, great – how much?

Yesterday the Bloomberg site posted an article stating that India, which supplies about 50% of the drug, has banned exports until they have enough for their national use. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-04-06/half-the-u-s-supply-of-trump-touted-virus-drug-now-cut-off

So how much will they supply us and which other parts of the world will suffer while India delays supplying them as they split their production with the US? How much will China figure in as it provides some of the ingredients required for production? May this, I hope, hilite the folly and failings of globalization, we should be making our own vital supplies.

I am glad that Detroit Rep was able to get hydrox… and get well. And, I am glad that she was willing to speak out and thank Pres. Trump.

I don’t know about the beds on the ship for COVID-19 patients. I am just so dubious about everything about what we are being told. I worry that the Gov has asked for it just so they will be used since they don’t seem to be being used.

That seems like so much good news about PM Johnson. I hope he continues to improve.

Babies and doggies, both good to cheer us up. šŸ˜€

Wicked Son is Vice Chancellor and Deputy CIO at one of the oldest HBCUs.
Dept Head Engineering called him. Engineering has turned all their 3D printers into production of medical face shields, and asked did WS know how to get the face shields to medical people.

DIL is cardio-surg nurse at Wake Forest system.
DIL is now taking those face shields in to work every day she works.

How cool is this? American ingenuity in all its glory.
The University’s exchange students, who are forced to remain on campus (nowhere else to go) are receiving a double lesson, in American ingenuity and can-do attitude.
Meanwhile, Fake News tries to create panic. Americans are too busy getting’ ‘er done to notice.

  7. From our camp to all of yours here on Stella’s site:

Remember, the peace and benediction of our Lord and God is far more powerful than anything designed against to destroy us.

Sometimes, hard as it is, we have to take a breath, look higher than ourselves, our problems, even physical afflictions and diseases to know and recognize one most central thing

    PSALM 46:10

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.

Benedictis to all of you here!
