Mornin’ everyone. Well, well, we did get some rain last night. I don’t know how much yet, but it poured for a short while. So, it is about 60* right now. In Florida speak, that is “cold.” Hope everyone is safe after the storms went across last night.

Springtime holds promises of summer or….. not……
It’s currently 10 degrees here and the snow has been steadily falling for the last 10 hours…

Okay, springtime in the northern Rockies. We occasionally had snow as late as the end of May in northern UT.

The open plains get the Canada cold and it meets with the West Coast moisture that has managed to make it to the east side of the Rockies. Spring really doesn’t arrive here until about the 15th of May :0)

Hope you get sun and warmer weather soon! Even though we had such a mild winter we also seem to be having a mild spring. We have only had a handful of days over 80 and that is good. I am loving it. Won’t even hit 60 today they say, but it is sunny and I love it.

Mornin’ Menagerie….The last couple of weeks have been beautiful with upper temperatures in the high forties, low fifties.
I’m hoping this is just a short squall and we’ll return to warmer weather fairly quickly….

I know what you mean, litenmaus. We’re predicted to have snow non-stop for the next two days. But temps are hanging right around freezing. Another month before the white landscape morphs to green. We’re usually snow-free by May 1st.

Litenmaus, hopefully the Montana winter was not as bad as 2018…

“A cowboy pushes a herd of black Angus cattle down a road to a calving shed on a ranch near Toston, Montana. The state’s long, brutal 2018 winter was devastating for livestock. More than 37,000 livestock deaths were reported to the federal Livestock Indemnity Program, which paid out $11.1 million for losses. That’s more than the previous four years combined.”

      Take care!

The amount of snow in 2018 was really quite unbelievable….the flooding in the spring when the snow started to melt caused huge amounts of damage to businesses in our area.

This year however, there has been a lot of cold, a lot of wind but very little snow….

Thank you Lucille….keepin’ warm, it’s what I do best. :0)
