I am really curious about what caused the others to treat her like they did. We probably will never find out. I wish she would mention why Omar’s voice is like it is. Truthfully, I have heard another woman from Somalia with a voice a little like Omar’s, but Omar always sounds like she is swallowing her words.

Lombard does a good job analyzing Omar, whose problems are obvious, but she missed all the subterfuge going on around Omar.

Several people noticed the laughing going on with the 3 communists. They were not pleased.

That tall guy who introduced Omar was not happy with Omar at all. As Omar is speaking, there are a couple members, Barbara Lee and the tall guy to our right, who are def glaring at Omar.

At the very end, Jayapal and Barbara Lee are def upset with Omar. Jayapal even points at Omar twice.

Omar’s reasons for behaving as she did at the beginning are due to her obvious very public personal problems, but perhaps more importantly, Omar was faking her “PTSD.” How did Lombard miss that?

Czarina’s thoughts on why Omar speaks like a spoiled princess are def helpful and important.
Sometimes the words are just as important, if not more so, than the body language. One must analyze both. imo
But Lombard does a public service in prodding people to consider and think about these things (too much work for me lol)
