    Moving the tropicals in and their support equipment around I’m coming across frogs, toads, chameleons and geckos in hibernation. It’s strange picking them up and their feeling like a little block of ice – you can feel them stir as they soak up your body heat. I’m putting them inside with the plants as they’ll be less likely to end up as ant food.

    I think the dark horse candidate I’ve been looking for ishere: Bloomberg.

    Bloomberg tested his muscles by spending over $2.5 million to flip Virginia to a blue state, the legislature, governor’s office, AG, the whole megillah. His work there tested his ability to flip reddish and mobilize that middle ground tired of the endless Trump battle going on in Congress and the press.

    He, like Trump, has his own money and will swim in an ocean of Democratic ‘Dump Trump’ money while having the entire Hollyork entertainment industry behind him. Goebbels would be proud.

    The new Virginia governor has already announced a program of progressive legislation, yes gun confiscation and control are on it. I’m betting this will be a testbed for Bloomberg-inspired social control, a load of prog legislation, tweaking/testing the 2020 platform he’ll push. Think New York/New York City on a national level.

    For the3rd time in the last 5 days I’ve been seeing the medical section on the local news touting a ‘new breakthrough drug that can control ADHD for 24 hours’ in children. It’s new and just out of pharma-controlled FDA trials so it doesn’t have a whole lotta use behind it but LOOK OVER THERE! A BRIGHT AND SHINY DRUG ON A STRING?

    Let’s see what unholy terror the PDUFA-bound Congress/pharma has released on our children. Therapy? THERAPY!? We dun neeeed no steeeenkin’ therapy, we have drogas!

        The elitists have been looking to drugs as a method of social control for decades, a number of Sci Fi stories were written about it but as drugs have become a national recreational vehicle no one seems to care.

        I think it’s part of the social control program in that from an early age kids are being taught that unacceptable behaviors are rightly treated with drugs. Citizen! Your government knows best…her”e, take this!”.

    I am off on a new writing project, which besides writing, also means a lot of reading. My last big project like this involved a lot WWII research and I am still reading books about the war. I think I have three on my Kindle left to go.

    I was thinking the other day that it isn’t fair that Amazon targets me with ads for books like they do. I should complain to my lawmakers about how unfair that is.

    What a weird day. I was getting warmer and warmer in the apt. and then I stepped out to go get the mail. It was almost cool out there, 74*. I checked the thermometer inside and it was 82*. No wonder it felt really warm. I opened the windows and doors and now it is really nice inside. 😀 First day the humidity has been down low enough to do this.
