Hahahahahaha…a typo a day keeps the doctor away or maybe not…except there’s two in the list. LOL! It’s the thought that counts or maybe not, either. Hahahaha!

Miss Bee just came running into my office to see what I’m laughing so hard about, looked at me quizzically and then ran out. She doesn’t even know how to put paw to keyboard…so what’s she so haughty about.

When I log into my email account, I am first bombarded with what I would call “fake news”. For an example, one of the headlines listed this morning is, “Controversial Democrat makes Heartbreaking Announcement”. It is about Ilhan Omar getting a divorce. I imagine many people are hoodwinked by these phony stories. Contents:

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Rep. Ilhan Omar has officially divorced from her husband in Minnesota, just a month after she filed a petition saying there was an “irretrievable breakdown” in their marriage.

Omar and Ahmed Hirsi had been married since January 2018 but were longtime partners. Omar says Hirsi is the father of her three children.

The marriage was dissolved Tuesday after paperwork was signed by court personnel. The divorce comes months after a Washington, D.C., woman accused the Democratic congresswoman of having an affair with her husband.

When Omar was asked at the time whether she was separated from Hirsi or dating someone, she told WCCO-TV, “No, I am not.” She has since declined to discuss her personal life.

Omar’s attorney, Jaime Driggs, says Omar’s grateful she and Hirsi reached a resolution for the sake of their children.

An attorney for Hirsi didn’t respond to a request for comment.

As a measure of our rurality….

The camera system on my phone died yesterday, seems Verizon says I need an upgrade or I can’t use it. Within minutes I get another msg telling me my messaging system also needs an upgrade and is dead. OK, so I push the ‘upgrade’ icon and…nothing.

A call to the Verizon tech office eventually gets me can answer – their service out here is piggybacked off of a 3rd party tower so there’s only basic service, no wifi, and the downloads are too big to come down over just the basic service so I have to go some 15 miles south or west to where there’s a tower with wifi capability.

They are slow good thing about carrier pigeons is at least you could eat ’em when you were done with ’em.

Snow started falling about 3 yesterday afternoon and showered about six inches throughout the night. It’s 8 degrees at the moment and it’s too cold for snow, however there is a beautiful dance of frost crystals taking place in the stillness.

It’s 10:30 a.m….no one has driven past and the streets are indistinguishable from the rest of the white landscape…..very pretty and very quiet.

15 Popes whose ‘Islamophobia’ saved the Christian World from Muslim Takeover
“The Catholic Church [is] the greatest defender against Islam throughout history.”

Popes on Islam is about 15 popes whose “Islamophobia” saved the Christian World from Muslim takeover. I found the article posted on Father Mario Alexis Portella’s Blog (The Great Architect). Father Portella is a native New Yorker who currently serves as chancellor of the Archdiocese of Florence, Italy.

There is some great history in reading about the stopping of Islam. Most fascinating, at least to me, is the involvement of Mary. You should read up on some of that. I sure wish she would smack the current pope a lick or two and set him straight.

    The Federalist.com latest article:

It’s Time For The United States To Wage War On Mexican Drug Cartels
By John Daniel Davidson – NOVEMBER 6, 2019

The slaughter of an American family in Mexico is the latest sign that violence in Mexico is out of control and the U.S. needs to step in.

    https://thefederalist.com/2019/11/06/its-time-for-the-united-states-to-wage-war-on-mexican-drug-cartels/?utm_source

However, I just saw another article indicating that Mexico’s socialist President thinks “loving” cartel members is the way to go and that he’s not interested in using “violence to defeat violence.” Has he given up bodyguards, I wonder? He’s just another coward. The cartels see him as a weakling and will react accordingly.

    lilbirdee12’s prayer:

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

A prayer for Justice Kavanaugh and Gen. Flynn:

    Prayer to St. Michael

    St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
    May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O prince of the heavenly host,
    by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits
who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
