      What this proves is that keeping the underbrush cleared out does help a lot. I lived there for 25 years. It burned every year, but not like it is now. They were keeping the underbrush under control back then.

    The heart of the Sandmann/WaPo case is that the false factual narrative put forth by Nathan Phillips ( a known provocateur and troublemaker) was reported not as opinion but as fact and that the WaPo was negligent in reporting the false narrative without any journalistic investigation into the statements.

    WaPo put forth a false factual narrative that reaches the threshold of journalistic malpractice and defamed Nick Sandmann causing irreparable harm to his reputation.

    Todd “As bad as WaPo’s reporting was, CNN was worse.” 😎

    Love the mind, the knowledge of the law and how deferential he is to the judge. Smart lawyering.

    Todd draws the parallel between how the MSM treats Justice Kavanaugh, President Trump and any conservative white male.

      Beginning with FDR who called Stalin “Uncle Joe” and it continued with Castro, the Democrats have supported and admired every Communist dictator in the world and made regular pilgrimages to their capitals.
      Except for Senator Ted “the Swimmer” Kennedy who met with the KGB in Paris in the 1980s and asked for help in stopping Reagan’s deployment of missiles in Europe. Kennedy did not foresee the fall of the Soviet Union and KGB files being opened for inspection.

    “He may be an SOB, but he is our SOB”. – I have seen this attributed to both FDR & LBJ. This was in reference to our support for the Shah. The Shah was a typical 3d world thug ruler. But the Middle East and the world was a lot safer.
    A liberal lunatic from a now-defunct discussion board claimed the Shah denied his people the right to fully practice their religion. I agreed. Then I added, I do not recall women being stoned, hung, and flogged for what was considered normal in the rest of the civilized world. Women comprised well over half of the professional jobs. When Carter sold out the Shah, “Barefoot, Pregnant, and in the Kitchen became the rule of the day”.

    BTW: There are no elected leaders in Iran.
