Kayla Mueller was a U.S. hostage killed in ISIS custody. Saturday’s raid was named in her honor.

In August 2015, the New York Times reported that Mueller had been forced into marriage to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who raped her repeatedly. She had also been tortured.

It had also been reported in May 2015 that Mueller was a “personal captive” of Abu Sayyaf. In August 2015, ABC News reported that Abu Sayyaf’s widow, Umm Sayyaf, had confirmed that al-Baghdadi had been Mueller’s primary abuser.

What torture it must have been for her parents, especially when the Obama regime told them not to talk about her capture. So, there was nothing they could do. It seems Bagdadi’s death gave them a little peace.

OK, as Obama would say: “Her status was undetermined though she did take her chances by going into Moslem territory unescorted by a male relative and without hijab and chardor. It’s undetermined whether she voluntarily entered into a relationship with her protectors, perhaps afraid to tell her coworkers due to her fear of a possible Islamophobic reaction. I’ve ordered Director James Comey to begin an investigation to determine her whereabouts if there may have been any foreign influence in her disappearance, her wants America to know how much he CAIRs.”

Bottom line here is that everyone should realize that were s/he to leave the safety of the US they’re on their own. State Department will spit on your grave before they’ll lift a finger to help you, best they’ll generally do is send some bureaucrat-in-training to wherever you’re being held (if it’s safe) to tell you you’re screwed but they’ll gladly go the extra mile and tell your NOK back home you’re screwed.

Now I didn’t expect State to intervene with ISIS, if they can’t discuss the issue over drinks and a meal under an air conditioner it’s generally a no-go, but neither State nor Obama seemed all that interested in rescuing US hostages from Moslem fanatics. Even peacenik Jimmy Carter tried to rescue US hostages from Moslem nutjobs – OK, his bureaucratic meddling went a long way to screwing it up but at least he tried. Ross Perot rescued his employees from Iranian nutjobs.
in Desert Storm we used Polish Special Forces to rescue US hostages in Iran,. Obama couldn’t even try…why?
