Boris Johnson is fighting hard, but will he win, and what will that look like?

He’s lost his majority in Parliament. His own brother has resigned. The House of Commons passed legislation to block a no-deal Brexit on October 31. They are blocking a snap election. What next?

Mike Pence visited Downing Street today, and said that the United States is “ready, willing and able to immediately negotiate a free trade agreement with the UK.”

Delay Brexit? Boris says “I’d rather be dead in a ditch..”

He will once again propose a snap election next Monday. In the meantime, Boris Johnson and his girlfriend, Carrie Symonds, will be spending one day this weekend at Balmoral with the Queen.

A Number 10 spokeswoman said: ‘The PM has accepted Her Majesty the Queen’s invitation to visit Balmoral. ‘He will have an audience of Her Majesty on Friday followed by dinner, before returning to London on Saturday.’

I hope she is able to help sort this out, or at least give him some advice. I can’t help but feel that it is the mood of the people of the UK that will sway the final political outcome.

I’m listening to the debate in the House of Lords. What a bunch of pompous asses! One “Lord” said out loud that the politicians know better than the people. Many of them want to have another referendum (hoping that the vote goes their way this time, I guess). Their aim is to prevent Brexit. Period.

My noble friends … my right honorable noble friend, the Prime Minister and his friends aren’t “good chaps”. Like the noble lady, Baroness D_____ …

One woman (noble lady, I assume) says that her friends in Europe want to know what brought them to this “capitulation”.

        Unbelievable.

The House of Lords has always been seen as largely a pack of ‘developmentally disabled’ inbreeds, the butt of many jokes. They are largely in place as a balance to the Great Unwashed in the House of Commons, many seats are hereditary. I can remember news clips on German TV of positively ancient members hodding off during debates or making speeches that made no sense at all. It was if German TV was asking: “And THIS beat us!?”.

The elites and others with interests outside of Britain proper are forcing a trip back into the EU, I see that they’re also battling (here and in Britain) Trump’s trade deal with England that would increase trade and blunt a lot of potential Brexit problems.

Look! Over there! Something bright and shiny on a string! Nothing going on over here.

This is bred into their culture, their thought process, they worship the Royals. That “the” and “Us” mentality filters down from generations to generation.

Sadly many of the commoners believe this as much as the “Lords”.
