Our old-old dog now feels the necessity to give an attention bark every time anyone with 4-feet moves…sometimes seemingly just for the hell of it. When one of us comes home it’s a ‘here they are, s/he’s home!’ string of barks as she trots around the inside. Then again she’s 16 or 16 years old at least so we’re at where we’re at.

My DIL said her parents’ dogs would probably do that, but she and my son have labs and they would probably jump around and bark.
