Retired ICE Director Tom Homan comments on the nearly 700 arrested in Mississippi ICE raids

As an introduction to this story, the name of the company is Koch Foods, not to be confused with Koch Industries or the Koch brothers. Statement from the company website:

Koch Foods is an independent, privately held company that specializes in the processing of poultry. We are in no way affiliated with the Koch brothers, Koch Industries, Koch Companies or any other organization that uses the Koch name.

FORTUNE

U.S. immigration officials raided several Mississippi food processing plants on Wednesday and signaled that the early-morning strikes were part of a large-scale operation targeting owners as well as employees.

Employees filled three buses — two for men and one for women — at a Koch Foods Inc. plant in tiny Morton, 40 miles (64 kilometers) east of Jackson. They were taken to a military hangar to be processed for immigration violations. About 70 family, friends and residents waved goodbye and shouted, “Let them go! Let them go!” Later, two more buses arrived…

“It was a sad situation inside,” said Domingo Candelaria, a legal resident and Koch worker who said authorities checked employees’ identification documents.

Just saw an inteerview on the news, with a girl about 10 years old, crying and extremely articulate about the entire situation. Sounded rehearsed. Used all the code words.

I know the media is using children to make people feel badly. The basic fact is that ICE is enforcing the law, and these people are law breakers. When someone is arrested – a US citizen – they are taken away from their children. No difference here.

Yes, she looked and sounded just like my 10 yo great-niece after her mother my niece died of a drug overdose, drugs brought by these same illegals who stole SocSec nos, for whom we now must feel sorry. My great-niece’s Momma is NEVER coming home.
My great-niece had also just lost her only GPA (my L’il Bro), the year before.

    Known drug overdose deaths 1999 – 16, 849. Reported drug overdose deaths 2017- 70,237.

2018 shows, so far, a 5.1% decrease, first one since 1999. One wonders if Trump’s increased border security emphasis played a part in that. Lotta Mexican and US government folks gonna have to cut back on their expenses this year, no wonder they all want a Democratic Congress and White House.
