It’s Caturday!

Some of the medicinal properties of herbs make them toxic to cats. However, dill, parsley, sage and valerian are safe for cats. Lavender, lovage, thyme, mints and rosemary are other common herbs that are safe for the cat-friendly herb garden. Your kitty will thank you if you plant some catnip for her. Caution: catnip, like all mints, spreads like wildfire (or weeds). Keep it potted.

    Ancillary to this, the wren that built the nest in the spider plant on the patio managed to get her 3 chicks grown and out from right under the nose of the patio-owning cat.
