He is actually pushing drugs on young people…..just look at City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County or Philadelphia. Or any city/State under Demo control. Did you know under the Trumps’ economy, Demo Control California posted a 9-12 Billion Dollar surplus…

From the ‘strange’ instances in Vietnam and Laos to today I really don’t think the government and the elite are that interested in doing away with drugs, quite the contrary. Ditto Europe.
We destroyed ISIS in what amount of time yet we can’t seem to find and destroy the thousands and thousands of acres of poppies in Central and South America that feed America’s heroin trade? We can’t do the same with the coca plantations that feed the US and Europe? We’re in a Drug War yet the prices of crack and heroin have fallen or remained stable for the last 30ish years relative to inflation? We couldn’t find a Mexican cartel distribution hug smack (excuse the pun) in the middle of Chicago that operated for years, controlled distribution throughout the Midwest and turned more $$$ a year than the Chicago Mercantile Exchange?

I’ve always said this too czar. I don’t have your background and knowledge, but danged if I can see how they can know what kind of toilet paper every American uses, shoot people from drones controlled thousands of miles away, spend millions on imaginary Russian collusions, and not shut down the drug trade.
I am inclined to believe that this means the right people profit from not shutting it down.

Mornin’ all… Wednesday, I went out and mowed . I was so sure that spring was here that I went to storage and pulled out my patio rocking chairs. Thursday the temperatures fell and by mid day the wind began to howl.
Yesterday morning, the chairs were missing (located them a block away), the temperature kept falling and we had a steady rain all day. Squeaks was not amused to find that he’s not waterproof.
Last night when I went to bed, I had hopes that in the morning I’d wake up to sunshine and spring…unfortunately, I woke to heavy snowfall and it doesn’t look like it’s going to let up anytime soon. (sigh)

Well a fresh cherry turnover 🙂 . They had radishes, rhubarb, spinach, onions and mushrooms in the way of local produce. There may have been more but I met up with a friend and we headed outdoor hot tea and coffee. Brrrrrrr……… to today!

Sorry! Hope it warms up soon. We are in the 90s now. Expect a steaming Memorial Day they say. Granddaughter is heavily into her campaign for a swimming pool. We just get those cheap ones every year. I guess I need to find a decent deal on one.

It was really scary here. Wild weather with 4 inches of rain, hail, and tornado warnings. We were out in the car during the worst of it around noon today. I was doing a lot of praying!

Being in a car when it is being pelted with hail is major dangerous and extremely frightening, I’m glad you’re okay sand. Are you expecting to be on tornado watch all night long?

It was scary. The watch started around noon yesterday and was over by around 5. Last year we got hit pretty hard and we had to have major car repairs and a new roof. Most everyone living around us did. I never thought the hammering would stop from all the roofs being replaced around us. Thankfully it wasn’t big damaging hail this time around. It’s still unnerving to be stuck in your car while it’s happening.

Stopped by the feed store this morning, found out it was ‘Chicken Day’, folks come from all around to buy/sell/trade chickens. Folks kept on encouraging me to buy some chickens but, as I told ’em, I just can’t seem to figure out how to correctly plant them, they never grow. Did buy a Pollo shirt though.

My pork (tenderloin) Marbella is in the oven and smells so delicious! If it is as good as it smells, I will share the recipe.

It’s good. The pork is moist and the leftovers will make great sandwiches and leftovers for dinner tomorrow. The flavors are a little bit old-fashioned, but very good. My next effort will be spicy-sweet sambal pork noodles.
I don’t usually cook with fresh pork, but these two dishes are good ones, I think.

Good evening ladies and gentlymen. Hope your weekend is going well, although one sees a wee bit of bad weather has intruded.
Wicked Son and DIL listed their house yesterday. Yard sign and all. This morning they had two showings before noon.
It is sinking in – my kid is leaving, and will not be around anymore for the first time in his life.
WS is very happy, loves his job, and is buying a new home in Greensboro worth double their current home. They will be living on WS’s salary alone, and DIL’s entire salary will go into retirement.
Evil Mom should be extremely happy. And yet…
Ah well. This has not come to stay, it has come to pass. And pass it will.
Have a Great rest-of-the-weekend, and will pray for fair weather moving in for our weather-oppressed.

It is hard to have them leave jean, I miss all my girls but my youngest moved to Chicago in January and it has been a huge adjustment. Thankfully none have moved across the country (or to another country) yet!
It’s part of life, letting them go, and being happy that they are following their own path, I know it is still an empty feeling to see them leave. Hopefully you will be able to visit often.

I’m sorry, jeans2nd. 😦 When DD went away to college in Arkansas, I took it very hard. I understand completely. Then our oldest moved to Arizona with his wife and kiddos a few months ago. It was so hard on my husband, because he’s never been far from his son. Thankfully FaceTime and texting make it a bit easier. (((Hugs)))
