Rod Rosenstein submits resignation to President Trump, effective May 11

So far, all written and oral statements surrounding his resignation are kind and cordial.

AG William Barr’s statement:

“Rod Rosenstein has served the Department of Justice with dedication and distinction for nearly thirty years as a prosecutor, Deputy Assistant Attorney General, US. Attorney, and as Deputy Attorney General. His devotion to the Department and its professionals is unparalleled,” Barr said. “Over the course of his distinguished government career, he has navigated many challenging situations with strength, grace, and good humor.”

“Rod has been an invaluable partner to me during my return to the Department, and I have relied heavily on his leadership and judgment over the past several months. I have appreciated the opportunity to work closely with him, and I wish him well in his future endeavors. The Department and I will miss him.”

So far, “kind and cordial”. It does seem a bit odd. After all, for months on end we read, in the CONSERVATIVE MEDIA, about Rosie conspiring against Trump. Implications that he was directing Mueller in special, anti-Trump schemes. Moreover, the whole Conservative media painted him as an evil, probably criminal, bad man. So, is he?

I suspect that we have been fed a lot of pure Conservative lies by places like Breitbart, Daily Caller and CERTAINLY by Fox News. WE tend to believe sources that more or less align with rational thinking. They seem credible, but are they?

If Rosie is being allowed to run away from crimes, we will never know, but the chances are that most all of the negative “speculation” we’ve been fed is just our own side of the media doing exactly what we trust them to not do. LYING.

I think it’s too early to draw a conclusion, and we may never know. That is why I often have impressions and opinions that I keep to myself. Government officials are people too, and I don’t believe it is right to express negative opinions that smear their character when I really don’t know. If he is guilty of a crime, then I hope that he is punished.

I don’t know if conservative pundits are LYING; that seems a bridge too far. We don’t really know that, do we?

      Politicians are a different animal!
