On April 26, 1977, Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager open a nightclub, Studio 54, located at 254 West 54th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

NPR has described it as a onetime Manhattan nightspot where very good-looking people danced to very good music while snorting very good drugs.
It will become a legendary symbol of the decadent disco era and overindulgent celeb culture. Regulars would include Andy Warhol, Mick and Bianca Jagger, Truman Capote, Elizabeth Taylor, and yes, Donald Trump.

There is a little something of differing tastes of music here for you to listen to while reading. Many of you will like all these music videos.
I will be listening to the KYRIE of Beethoven’s magnificent MISSA SOLEMNIS as I write some words I’d like to share with you. It is my gift and love of God in my heart for all of you: SD, Ad Rem, Menagerie and every branch and limb of this wonderful Conservative Tree House.

It took a long time.

It was already prophesied in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22
David knew…Isaiah too!
The coming Savior and Messiah
Who would atone for the sins of the whole world
So that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish,
But have everlasting life.
But O! the Pain, the Agony, the wrenching of the heart of God!
Incomprehensible to the mortals He would offer Himself for.
The bulls of Bashan encircled Him, {Psalm 22}
Gaped at Him like a raging and roaring lion…….
He said, IT IS FINISHED!
He passed…
And went down into the devil’s den and Hell
Preached to the fallen angels
And took the keys of Death and Hell
To forever declare and tell
The mission was accomplished.
Satan would be defeated and judged forever!
Oh the fear, dread and terror that shook
The Fortress of the Gates of Hell that glorious Morn’
Like a Jerusalem Thorn,
Piercing the heart of Satan
Causing greatest consternation
That Bright and Shining hour of the Resurrection
The Glory of the Lord,

Good morning, Nyet! It’s a drizzly day in the Idaho Panhandle and after partaking of your fine repast, I’m headed off to Lombok, Indonesia where it’s 75 degrees, wind 1 mph, but a HUMIDITY!!! of 96%. Still it’s beautiful…

For me Lombok is a familiar name only because it was mentioned in THE YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY as an island where some terrible atrocity was committed. If you haven’t seen the film, is a MUST to view…fabulous story, fine acting, and a young Mel Gibson…

One of my sisters in law has a real mean streak, and she thinks fast, always has a zinger ready. Many years ago when we were young a man in the classic trench coat flashed us as we were coming out of a convenience store on a beer run. Instantly my SIL pointed at “it” and started laughing hilariously. The guy jerked that coat closed and ran off in record time.

A great film to watch is “CBGB” (netflix and prime)…..about the early days of CBGB, with Alan Richman as club founder and promoter Hilly Kristal

The guy is a pompous ass. Supposedly all about climate change, but … I was watching a program about the royal family, and one of the servants said that Charles won’t eat the vegetables when they are in Scotland, and has veggies brought in DAILY from his own estate.

It’s impossible to tell from this article whether Martin Farnsworth actually converted to Islam and frequented a mosque in Utah; authorities should investigate this possibility, and also try to determine whether his allegiance to ISIS came from that mosque, but they almost certainly will not do so. In any case, his behavior is being ascribed to his autism and to the claim that he was bullied. But plenty of people are autistic and plenty of people are bullied, and they don’t try to join ISIS. What’s the difference here?
