Hey Menagerie……got another message for you, from next door…..I’m just the messenger. Next time I’ll just post the link.

wondering999 commented on Thursday April 11th – Open Thread.

If Ad Rem or one of the other moderators is around, there is something I would like to forward to Menagerie?

The article linked below just came to my email yesterday. It’s from the University of Arizona, and is about a gut treatment that has produced good results for children with autism. There is no remedy that works for everyone, but if this works, it could change the world for so many:

        https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2019-04/asu-asr040819.php

β€œIn a new study, β€œLong-term benefit of Microbiota Transfer Therapy in Autism Symptoms and Gut Microbiota,” published in Scientific Reports, Arizona State University researchers Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown, Ph.D., James Adams, Ph.D, and lead author Dae-Wook Kang, Ph.D, demonstrate long-term beneficial effects for children diagnosed with ASD through a revolutionary technique known as Microbiota Transfer Therapy (MTT)….originally pioneered by Dr. Thomas Borody, an Australian gastroenterologist. Remarkably, improvements in gut health and autism symptoms appear to persist long after treatment.

β€œAt two years post-treatment, most of the initial improvements in gut symptoms remained. In addition, parents reported a slow steady reduction of ASD symptoms during treatment and over the next two years. A professional evaluator found a 45% reduction in core ASD symptoms (language, social interaction and behavior) at two years post-treatment compared to before treatment began.”

    10 beautiful things about today.

    1) Dogs, mountains, lakes and piers.

    2) β€œI think spying did occur, the question is whether it was . . . adequately predicated.”__Attorney General William Barr

β€œFor the same reason we’re worried about foreign influence in elections, I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal I’m not suggesting those rules were violated but I think it’s important to look at. . . . I think it’s my obligation.”__Also Attorney General William Barr 😎

    3) POtuS Barack Obama’s White House Counsel, Greg Craig, has been indicted through work done by the Mueller investigation.

    4) James Comey is talking way too much and his voice has gone up an octave. He is embarrassing himself.

Comey was on a show and said that if Attorney Barr wants to call government surveillance spying then β€œWOW! There are going to have to be a lot of conversations at the Department of Justice.”

spy; work for a government or other organization by secretly collecting information about enemies or competitors.

surveillance ; close observation, especially of a suspected spy or criminal.

Comey is one of the few people who can give Obama a run for his money in his pure unadulterated arrogance and a grotesque need to be worshipped. Playing a jester has got to be killing him.

    Good.

Oh and Comey simultaneously talked out of the back of his head saying that he doesn’t know of any β€œelectronic surveillance” having anything to do with Trump 😏. What is FISA for 2000 ?

    5)

    Mushroom arrangement (sorry I can’t remember the artist’s name 😦 ) .

    6)

Watching the absolute panic, spitting rage, incredulousness, fear, tears and sour pusses of the sad sack politicians, the MSM and the walking morons over the Mueller report and Barr’s statements as President Trump’s popularity grows in spite of all of their underhanded malicious tactics.

    7) Eric and Lara Trump are having their second baby. How beautiful is that?

    8) Spring and All __Carlos Williams

By the road to the contagious hospital
under the surge of the blue
    mottled clouds driven from the
northeast — a cold wind. Beyond, the
    waste of broad, muddy fields
brown with dried weeds, standing and fallen

    patches of standing water
    the scattering of tall trees

All along the road the reddish
    purplish, forked, upstanding, twiggy
stuff of bushes and small trees
with dead, brown leaves under them
    leafless vines —

    Lifeless in appearance, sluggish
    dazed spring approaches —

They enter the new world naked,
    cold, uncertain of all
save that they enter. All about them
    the cold, familiar wind —

    Now the grass, tomorrow
the stiff curl of wildcarrot leaf

One by one objects are defined —
It quickens: clarity, outline of leaf

But now the stark dignity of
entrance — Still, the profound change
has come upon them: rooted they
grip down and begin to awaken

    9) The joyful innocence of childhood.

10 1 Corinthians 13:13 ”Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

    Some thoughts.

I encourage people to look deeper into Julian Assange’s roots and motives.

    1) Julian is an anti-American.

    2) Julian did work with Chelsea Manning and was an advocate of President Obama’s commuting Manning’s sentence. It is clear to most folks that Manning is a scumbag. So ?

    3) Julian endangered the lives of US, Israeli, British and other informants by dumping un-redacted documents.

A caveat here is that people always say that there is no proof that anyone was killed because of Julian’s careless document dump. This is very simple thinking. Of course no handler, no parent country is going to admit that their source was killed and verify beyond any doubt whatsoever who their sources are/were. This would have endangered more people’s lives.

    4) Julian is anti President Trump

    5) Julian did not publish the Hillary/Podesta emails to help candidate Trump. He made those documents public because he thought Hillary was going to win the presidency. He wanted to harm the US, to embarrass the US by showing that we put a criminal into office. Then Trump won.

    6) Rumor has been all along that Assange was an ungrateful guest during his time in the embassy. Somehow I don’t find that hard to believe. Nor would I entirely fault a man for getting grumpy given the circumstances of his life.

    ****
Assange is in my opinion is not a hero. But he is a true believer. Or a coward. There is no way I or anyone who does not know him intimately can discern whether he holed up in a 300 square foot embassy apartment for almost a decade because he believed in the justness of what he was doing or because he was afraid of going jail. I tend to side on the β€œtrue believer” especially given that the rape charges were dropped and the rape charges did seem politically motivated. More convincingly it is abundantly evident that the indictment is weak yet the US got an extradition agreement over a questionable, nebulous quirk in the wording of the indictment.

As to the indictment being weak sauce.

This is what is part of what is considered β€œactively encouraging Manning to provide more information”

    After Manning told Assange that the well had dried up, Assange replied with this line;

β€œCurious eyes never run dry in my experience.”

    πŸ™„

The reasonable man, the states standard, could interpret Assange’s statement in many ways.

    *******

All of that said, there is something particularly odd about the whole case. (Change of president in Ecuador aside).

Could there be some type of deal in the works?

Why now after the Mueller investigation has been completed?

Julian knows exactly who his sources are.

Julian knows who hacked the DNC computers. Or who illegally downloaded and removed information from the computers while being a member of the DNC.

The indictment is again tenuous at best.

What will a search warrant for Assange’s personal electronic devices reveal? His personal communications?

My biggest question and eyebrow raiser is something that most people seem to have ignored or dismissed.

Julian looked terrible, weak and disheveled he sounded terrified, he was yelling β€œYou can’t do this!!”

    But.

But somehow this weakened, disheveled, frightened man, a man who has not been outside in 7 years, somehow after being handcuffed Julian manages to hang onto a Gore Vidal book and just so happens to be holding it in a manner which allows Ruptly to grab a perfectly awesome picture amidst the chaos of the book.

What is the chance of this still being captured out of the Ruptly footage. Clear as day?

The books dust jacket reads β€œGore Vidal, History of the National Security State” β€œIncludes Vidal on America” β€œA collection of original interviews with acclaimed author Gore Vidal conducted by Paul Jay, Senior Editor of the RealNews Network, includes a collection of original photographs”

Also it has been reported that Julian was reading his Gore Vidal book in the courtroom. What is the chance that after wrestling a very defiant Julian into the vehicle that one of those police fellows said, “Ay mate! You dropped your book when you were fighting with me, here you go my friend”?

Or the other viable scenario is that a handcuffed, struggling, slightly crazed looking Julian never lost his grip on the book.

Go ahead and poke holes in my aluminum foil hat. But some kind of malarkey certainly seems to be afoot.

I’ve fluctuated about Assange’s actions…love it when Dems are outed, but dislike the giving aid and encouragement to Americans willing to commit treason…which I believe Bradley Manning did. Neither of these men were altruistic in any way. They could care less about those who may have been or were harmed by publishing national secrets. The same with Snowden.

Individuals deciding on their own what governmental actions are “pure” is beyond an ego trip and into the narcissistic where a person believes whatever he does is right and beneficial and sees his actions as heroic.

That Obama let Manning off the hook is disgusting. Now that he’s back in prison, let him remain there with his “purity of motive.” Just let us NOT pay for his sex change drugs, please!

I like the way you laid all that out. I have never been able to decide which side I am on about Assange. And, I never could keep all the details straight in my head. I did feel that the rape charges were bogus. Looking at the facts, I now feel that he is no friend to us and he is a loose cannon. I figure the Clinton contingent probably wants him bad. (I would say badly, but it sounds funny.) I think they and their cohorts in crime in the U.S. Government still are scared to death of what else he might have a let loose. And, the patriots in the government want to protect our sources and people.

Julian has also said in at least one interview that if he/wikileaks had damaging information on President Trump that it would be released but they simply do not have it.

President Trump is not a big user of electronic communication. (Twitter is a tool that he has mastered but he by all accounts does not use electronic communications for any substantive personal or political communication.

I’ve been watching Julian Assange interviews and reading articles about him and I am leaning more and more toward some kind of malarkey going on that we as plain old plain olds have no understanding of.

Newer articles are very critical of the “person” of Julian, not so much of his actions, but personal attacks are being published.

I can find article going back to January 2018 about Julian’s poor hygiene.

This recent article talks about Julian’s poor hygiene.

    https://abcnews.go.com/International/assanges-ecuador-embassy-life-discourteous-aggressive-behavior-bad/story?id=62330593

Julian is in my opinion being portrayed as a bit of a maniac who is not entirely in touch with reality and other people’s perception of him. (Sound familiar?)

There are also reports that Julian smeared feces on the walls and took over a women’s bathroom.

Reports that he didn’t care properly for his cat nor did he feed it properly.

So I decide to watch the Sean Hannity interview from 2016.

Never have I heard or read Sean comment on Julian’s hygiene.

Julian is clean in the interview, his clothes are big but not dirty or indicative of a man who is unaware of his own presentation.

His nails are clean, his teeth are good, two thing that would be more difficult to fix on the fly if they had long been neglected.

    Part of the Hannity interview;

There is also a website posting a dating profile that it claims is Assange’s account. Not a flattering portrayal.

The “suddenly found” dating profile 😏.

β€˜I’M A PIG HEADED INTELLECTUAL’ Julian Assange branded himself β€˜87% slut’ in bizarre 2006 dating site ad looking for β€˜love and occasional criminal conspiracy’

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8851174/julian-assange-bizarre-dating-site-ad/

So my simple reading of these components is that the personhood smearing of Julian has begun. So that means a lot of people in power fear what Julian is going to reveal and are trying to preemptively discredit him.

Another interview with Assange by John Pilger. Julian is wearing the same outfit, it looks crisp and clean.

Julian is well spoken in both interviews which is what he always has been.

A hat tip to the lady who does the body language videos, something I watch for now is does a person’s body language sync with their words? Julian’s body language does sync with his words.

Julian recalls when he speaks and thinks he does not create.

An interesting aside about Assange’s view of Hillary Clinton. He said, Look Hillary Clinton is just a person. I actually feel quite sorry for Hillary Clinton as a person, because I see someone who is eaten alive uhh, by their ambitions.Tormented, literals to the point where, uhh, where they become sick, the effect of, a result of, their going on and going on with their ambitions.

I think many of us have expressed this point of view, not that we feel sorry for Hillary as an individual but we feel sorry that she has thrown her humanity away in her quest for more power and greed.

A side note the Julian who is being portrayed as a disheveled slob certainly fits with the man we saw dragged from the embassy.

    Curious stuff.

When attacks become personal I almost always question their credibility. I disliked a lot of the crap, true or not, thrown around about Obama and especially Michelle because personal attacks are irrelevant and incredibly low hanging fruit. People with a point could find a lot of professional, relevant to politics and American interests to critique about the Obamas and Billary.

That being said, Bill’s affairs were not personal or irrelevant to me. That was character, and also, if you are busy being indiscreet, just how trustworthy are you with national secrets, especially if you could be blackmailed.

Anyhow, if they are trying to paint Assange as a madman, I suspect the accusers, and those behind them.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

A prayer for Justice Kavanaugh and Col. Flynn:

    Prayer to St. Michael

    St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
    May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do you, O prince of the heavenly host,
    by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits
who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
