Scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm
In an address to Miami’s Venezuelan-American community Monday, President Donald Trump will say forces loyal to Caracas leader Nicolas Maduro have two choices — pursue democracy or lose everything they have.
Trump is scheduled to speak at Miami’s Florida International University at about 4:30 p.m. EST in an invitation-only event coordinated by the White House. The president spent the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, about 65 miles north of Miami.
Bloomberg reported the Presidents’ Day speech at Florida International University will be a warning to Maduro’s regime to step down, and a rallying cry for exiled Venezuelans living in the United States.
…
In Florida, an estimated 36,000 people identify as Venezuelan and the majority live in the Miami area. They could comprise a critical voting bloc in the swing state in 2020.
Elliott Abrams, the U.S. envoy to Venezuela, told Congress this month “the current political and economic environment is unsustainable and [Maduro] will not be able to weather it much longer.” The position, in large part, is due to U.S. sanctions against state-owned oil giant Petroleos de Venezuela SA. The U.S. Treasury said it would consider lifting sanctions if steps are taken to “restore democratic order.”

Exciting! I didn’t know that this was happening, thank you Stella.

Oh man! Ann Coulter is going to lose her mind!
That was my first thought, my second thought was that Ann Coulter has become the Ocasio-Cortez of the republican party.
