Morning lovely! Emily Dickinson wrote such beautiful poetry. So many many liberal heads exploding lately! We will not a clean-up crew just for that, I believe. The best part about those books you read to your girls… is that someday you will read them to your grandchildren. 😊😊😊

Didn’t have any roastin’ ears, but did open a can of very tasty kernel corn and put it with some leftover rice and onions. That was so good I’ll have to put it all together again sometime.
Now, if only some kind soul would trudge through the snow bringing me a box of fried chicken, that would be super!

I am! My lunch was much healthier. Boston lettuce, onions, tomato, roasted beets (with balsamic and garlic olive oil) and a bit of homemade farmer’s cheese. And an orange. No breakfast today.

The dragonfly is the state insect of Alaska. Do other states have a state insect? Many people (czar?) say you can’t tell the mosquitoes from the dragonflies in Alaska.

I use an oil treatment with argon oil after I wash my hair. It’s made by Pantene, and I really like it.

The argan tree is endemic to Morocco, and the nut is alot like the almond (food, oil for culinary & dermatology use). I saw something on tv about a cooperative in Morocco which employs women in a fair trade way. But it seems some “argan” oil sold is not argan oil, and not from Morocco. Well, that never happens….

I just looked it up and the Honey Bee is Wisconsin’s state insect.
From the internet, Argon oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the Argon tree that is endemic to Morocco. In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in at breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. It is also used for cosmetic purposes.
It is just a very moisturizer, once it is absorbed you skin doesn’t feel oily.
I use it daily. Plus I use an argon shampoo and conditioner with helps my dry hair to not go Phyllis Stiller 🙂 !

Hey, got plenty. I can send some right back down your way if need be. Have I told y’all we didn’t even get finished leaf blowing because of the non stop monsoon season we’ve had here since fall? Every weekend that my husband had been around, which is most of them, really, it is either raining or the leaves are still wet.
Yeah, and we have acres of that and it has to be cleaned up before the cabin can go on the market. Which might be when I’m 95, looks like.

At least you don’t have to shovel the leaves. We’re about to need ice axes and crampons to get from the house to the cars. At this rate the snow won’t be gone before June!

Yeah, I’m gonna be out there spraying nitrogen fertilizer on my leaf cover to get it to compost, just ain’t doing it like I want it too. It keeps weeds down and moisture in the soil but is too much of a fire hazard. I got a few more down days until I can do that, time to reduce that excess liquor supply.

I use prill ammonium sulfate if it’s wet or, if I have a small area or one that’s hard to drive in, I mix the prill with water and use a gardening water can to sprinkle. I found it works best to spread the prill before a light rain as it soaks in and the bacteria that compost the leaves quickly use up the available nitrogen.

You have a farm store that sells bulk fertilizer? You just go in and get a 50# bag. You can ask for high nitrogen fertilizer, it used to be ammonium nitrate but after Oklahoma City it was changed to ammonium sulfate.
The stuff’s heavily hygroscopic so what you don’t use has to be sealed well or it turns into a brick. If it does it’s still good, you just gotta put some in a sack and break it up with a hammer.

And they did all that and more on the premise that they were our moral superiors and had uniquely divine rights to destroy a presidency that they loathed.
Shame on all these failed conspirators and their abettors, and may these immoral people finally earn a long deserved legal and moral reckoning.
