    OK, thanks to WeeWeed I got curious and looked up white male radicalization’ and WOW!, it’s a progressive agenda item.
    There are literally pages of references on Google and most point to a prog agenda to remove as much of the ‘radicalization’ sites from the internet as possible…just in case you were wondering what Google, Facebook, Twitter and other prog platforms were doing. Seems the various ISPs and hosts are getting pressured if they serve the ‘white radical’ agenda to kick these ‘white domestic terrorists’ off their services. Another prog anthem to the front.
    You gotta backup plan there if Ayers complains loudly enuff about this site, Mz S?

    Its still Halloween here on the left coast. Mommy and kiddo trick or treated for 2.5 hrs, frequently stopping to chit chat. Most of the neighborhood sits in their driveways with a fire pit and eat n drink while the kids do their thing. Kiddo got a lot of candy. Someone gave him the giant movie size kit Kat! I gave him a book and a small stuffy. After 1 candy, a bath and story, he was asleep within 2 minutes.
    Still has school tomorrow. I imagine most kids will be pretty sleepy! Im tired too but it was worth it.
    Hope you all had a great night.
    Now we have to start planning Thanksgiving(and for some black friday)!

    This sign reminds of a funny story about my grandmother, a true southern lady and as close to angelic as one could be. We were on a family vacation and had eaten dinner and then found a filling station to fuel up our cars before getting back on the road and out of the blue, she innocently stated… “Well… now we’ve all eaten and we’ve all got gas.” Funniest thing EVER!!! God bless her! I miss that wonderful lady so much.

    If any of ya done bought a new car lately ya knows that De-troit done give us a new sur-prize…tain’t not teeny tire in da trunk.

    I was coming home from another soon-to-be-a-failure attempt to buy winning Powerball and Megamillion tickets and as I’m looking at my dashboard display I see the electronic tire pressure indicator telling me the left rear tire’s going flat. It’s late, all the shops are closed, and I’m 15 miles from home, all 15 miles being open farm land. I pull into my Maison d’Chevron where the attendant/sommelier gives me change so I can put air into the tire. I put 354-pounds in and make a beeline for home. I look into the trunk and…NO TIRE, there’s a molding where a tire would fit but there’s just a littlr plug-in inflator and a can of tire goo. No tire, no jack and no lug wrench.

    I’m watching the gauge as I’m driving, I’m losing about 1 pound every two miles, and as soon as I hit the eastward turn on the really ‘out there’ portion of the road I breathe a sigh of relief as I have enough tire pressure to make it home. When I pull into the parking pad I’m down to about 10 pounds but I’m OK.

    I call the dealership the next morning but after getting bumped from section to section for about 15 minutes where no one can tell me anything I call corporate. Well it seems that in order to save weight on the cars to help meet fuel efficiency, the number of snowflakes who can’t/won’t change tires and a desire to turn every profit penny they can most companies have done away with skinny tires, you get the pump and the goo. They said, basically, that the overwhelming majority of folks live in environments where they can just spray the sealant goo into the tire and pump it up with the teeny compressor and limp to a shop.

    Interesting thing was that the ‘technician’ at corporate I was talking to didn’t know that you can’t seal sidewall punctures which is what I had, though I’m sure that had he have been quick enough he could have pulled some phony statistic out of his trunk about how the overwhelming number of punctures are NOT sidewall.

    I call my repair service, whom I trust, and have them order a new tire. That’s when Mike tells me that it’s good that I didn’t use the goo as if it had been a tread puncture and I’d have used the goo it would have ruined the tire period AND it would have gummed up the e-lek-tronik pressure sensor so I’d have needed another one of those as well as a new tire.

    That’s just short of 3000 miles on the car and a flat that would have been easily and cheaply fixable (had it have been a tread puncture instead) now has the potential to require a whole new tire.

      I hear He’s supposed to come to Georgia to speak for Abrams, I think at Morehouse College. She had OPRAH! speaking for her yesterday. I saw a bit they showed on the local news, and I sure hope Brian Kemp wins. She’s a wacko bird!

    If we are to believe the WaPo numbers of polled voters in contested House races seem to be leanin to Rat candidates by 4%age points with a 3.5%age point error possibility either way. Same pooling in 2016 showed a 15%age point tilt to the Republicans so the huge and expensive prog-run propaganda campaign over the last two years may be working.

    A Rat takeover of the House may well signal the Trump impeachment train back on track as Pelosi has blood in her eyes. If the Senate takes that one or two vote tilt to the Left – and I’m getting frantic ‘we’re behind in the polls and need more $$$’ emails from Arizona’s McSally, then it’s a whole nuther game for The Donald.

    Overheard a conversation at lunch today. “…you know Bobby’s mama was my mama’s…” and in and out of hearing.

    It occurred to me, this is what, to a large degree, defines the South. You are an intertwined part of the whole, back generations, connections that are treasured and talked about, no matter how trivial.

    Bobby’s mama could have been her mama’s sister or her hairdresser. It doesn’t matter, what matters is kinship, fellowship. We never let it go, even in those infamous bless his heart moments.

    Yes, I like that it matters, those connections. Perhaps somewhere down the road people will wake again to our similarities and our ties, rather than only concentrating on our differences.

      This is something I had to learn when we lived in Chattanooga. You can’t make a remark to anybody about anybody without it being somebody’s mother, brother, uncle, sister, daughter, cousin, old classmate, or family of old classmate, or the person who lived next door growing up. My ex found that out when stories started coming back to me from what he was doing at work. 🙄

    WooHoo….Today, the contractors returned and finished up the last of the structural work on the inside of my home. It is hard for me to get my mind around the fact that the day has actually arrived and there will be no further noise or construction upheavals in my future, but I have to admit, the timing is perfect ’cause I’m exhausted :0)

    The U.S. government has pushed a lot of bad nutrition advice over the years. Maybe it should stop advising us on what to eat.

    A comprehensive new study on cholesterol, based on results from more than a million patients, could help upend decades of government advice about diet, nutrition, health, prevention, and medication. Just don’t hold your breath.

    The study, published in the Expert Review of Clinical Pharmacology, centers on statins, a class of drugs used to lower levels of LDL-C, the so-called “bad” cholesterol, in the human body. According to the study, statins are pointless for most people.

    “No evidence exists to prove that having high levels of bad cholesterol causes heart disease, leading physicians have claimed” in the study, reports the Daily Mail. The Express likewise says the new study finds “no evidence that high levels of ‘bad’ cholesterol cause heart disease.”

    The study also reports that “heart attack patients were shown to have lower than normal cholesterol levels of LDL-C” and that older people with higher levels of bad cholesterol tend to live longer than those with lower levels.

    This is probably news to many in government. But it’s not news to everyone.
