    Lucky and the old alpha Border Collie got me up at ‘Oh-dark-I’m-gonna-kill-ya” with Lucky playing the dog version of ‘I’m, not touching you’. Good part was sunrise, we got one of those winter winners. Temps are swapping so there was only a light mist on the lake. There are leaves still on the trees though they’re somewhere between greenish and brownish so the low-angle sunrise breaking over the trees on the east cut a sharp yellow-orange line on the trees to the west, making them glow. Great time for sunrises,would be better with a bit more fog.

      Military dogs that have always fascinated me are the airborne dogs. Military’s had them since WW II where they would jump with static line jumps while tethered to their handlers. Now you have them strapped to their handlers on free fall jumps. Now if we could only train an airborne cat…
