The news has been heavy these past few weeks. Here’s something that might cause you to smile a little in the midst of the horror, chaos and just plain bad news.
She missed her flight, and was stuck overnight at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte NC, so Mahshid Mazooji made the most of a bad situation – turning lemons into lemonade – by convincing airport staff and other passengers to dance along with her to the song “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie.
“I missed my connecting flight in Charlotte, and I didn’t want to sit in anger all night long, so instead I did what makes me happiest…DANCE!! Oh, and I made some really great friends along the way! Thank you for dancing your troubles away with me!!”

I bet the staff who engaged with her loved it as much as she did. A relief from what is perhaps the normal projection on them for something they have no control over.
