Thing is, his little act makes it far easier for INS to ship Cubans trying to escape Castro’s Communist paradise right back to Cuba where they will be jailed. Thus will have no effect on the largely Rat voting Mex/Latin Americans illegally coming here. They’ll still be wined, doned and fully ensconced in the Rst paradise at tax payer expense as long as they vote Rat.
Last thing the Rats want here is folks with a firsthand knowledge of what a People’s Republic really is. Better to import thousands of Latinos who think three hots and a cot on the cuff is the be all and end all. Plus Cubans tend to vote Republican as they’ve seen how the Rats have helped Castro maintain his grip on Cuba.

The issue of Islamic terrs working with drug cartels isn’t new, y’all will remember my going on about it a number of times and I ran into the issue long before I retired. Having thebinfamous Triborder Area in mind I’d say the Moslem/drug gang connections go back even farther.
Note they said the gangbangers had a rocket launcher. That could mean a LAWS or an RPG-7. Both have been used in the cartels’ fights and we were told one was recovered from the crash site in Mexico of a vehicle carrying Islamic terrs trying to get into the US back shortly after 911. The RPGs will be courtesy of the Islamics but the LAWS could well be from US military transfers to some Latin American country. The LAWS are a DOD product and serial numbered with those numbers tracked from factory to end user soooooooo….you’ll probably never hear about where they came from if they are LAWS.
Y’all just give up them guns so that those evil terrs and drug dealers can’t take them away from you. Y’all ain’t smart or capable enuff to defend yerself agin no d-termind bad guyz, so y’all jes call dem poleeces and eventually they’ll come on over.

Czar, it was before Gulf war 1 US Coast Guard was pursuing an open fast boat, can’t remember where, maybe the Keys, one of the drug runners stood up with an RPG and fired. The CG pilot did a hard right bank, then the other CG aircraft opened fired. The engagement area boat-Blackhawk was less than 100 meters……. so I practice that maneuver, scared the crap out myself the first couple of times……….then got the hang of it..

Thank you, butbhardly. If Inwere smart I wouldn’t have turned down direct commissions the two times theybwerevoffered to me. Last time I demurred I’d been in twenty years with still over twenty ahead of me. Person whomtook it had four years in, didn’t hsve any college (I had my MBA by then) and didn’t have the knowledge yet on how to game the system. He made O-5 by his retirement justvtwenty years later. I have had a much fatter retirement chrck.

Evening Ms.WeeWeed!!!!!! Thanks for keeping a light on!!! Well the PA Farm Show was excellent!!!!! Lots of good displays and exhibits. Didn’t not win, Hotty Grams buggy, came in 5th, and sled pull, we pulled the two Belgiums due to stretch ligaments on the back legs.
Worked very hard on keeping the equipment, harnesses in a high state of polished readiness. Spent the nights with the animals, while HG and GSs enjoyed the hotel room. Lots of good info from Penn State.
Very interesting display on manure disposal/ methane cookoff to power turbine system to generate electricity, and other farm issues. Seems we are losing/have loss over 1 million bees, the state has some very good ideas on bring back the population…
. it’s nice to go away for a few days, nice to see PA is still a farming (family) state…..Nice to be Home…..I missed Everyone here….

Post-Katrina the Feds popped milliobs of dollars into refurbishing many buildings, including some public housing, into multi-income housing projects where Section-8 and big bux private condos are in the same units. The idea was dicey to begin with – not a lotta folks want to buy a $350k condomin the same building with Section-8 tenants. Well buried in the cobtracts was a clause that said some of these Section-8 developments would, after ten years, go from subsidized to market rates. Talk about a stink! How could the Hope Pope and his krewe be misdin’ dat?

In comparison with a lot of people, my housing budget is modest, but I will always do all that I can to assure that I do not live in community with the bottom feeders of society. We have worked too hard to earn a decent standard of living to stupidly throw it away for social engineering that works for no one.

Speaking of post-katrina I see a lot of those Katrina FEMA trailers for sale these days. I wonder how much money we spent on all those trailers, especially when I see some of them saying they were never lived in.

Tons of those were overbought by the Feds. We had the Feds renting hundreds of acres in the higher areas to store them in before, during and after Katrina. You could drive thru parts of the effected states and see farmers growing trailers for DC instead of crops.
Those for sale are, to me, dangers waiting to bite someone in the ass. They eere ton beakers of volitile organic carcinogens, enough formaldehyde to emblam a blue whale went into each one. They made hundreds sick, FEMA spent millions treating folks with proven trailer-based reactions. Seems the three letter Fed agencies that should have been overlooking construction, for whatever reason, didn’t.
They were not meant to be anything but temporary housing. Even the ones ‘never lived in’ would have to be sealed in a huge zip lock bag to keep the leaking metal sieve from picking up damage from the humidity. Best use for those pups would be recycling.

Oooo, buckwheat waffles! Never heard of that before, but they sound so good I’m gonna whip up some batter tonight (yeast raised, rather than baking powder) and try one (my waffle iron is for huge Belgian waffles) for breakfast tomorrow. With molasses. And bacon. 🙂

I use Hodgson Mills Buckwheat Pancake mix, I put an egg and milk in and about a table spoon of cooking oil per 3/4 cup of dry mix. A waffle’s basically a pancake in a waffle iron, the divots are just there to keep the good toppings from sliding off.

You can put syrup,on them…you can put PB&J on them, I’ve used them for lunch with (hot) roast beef salad or chili or at room temp but fresh with egg salad. Buckwheat waffles, ain’t jes fer brekast no mo.

Louisiana Rat governor, the governor of a state not only up to its eyes in debt but facing yet another mid-year debt crisis, is going on an ‘official’ visit to Italy. He’ll also officially discuss a plan with the Pope to combat human trafficking. Seeing as human trafficking is and has been a growth industry in Louisiana that the well-heeled Feds can’t seem to stop it’s questionable what a governor of a severely cash-strapped state, a governor whose shoes weren’t even cold under the gubernatorial bed before he sided with the BLM folks over the police, can do. Them again he gets an all-expenes-paid trip to Italy.

State auditors came back with a report that said the legislative planners used a figure that viewed the entire spectrum of online sales in the state, but when you take out the online sales that include those items that are not taxed the actual projection is far, far less.
Governor could not be reached for comment as he was on an official visit to Italy.

My friends gave me an old laptop to play with… Never used… but sixish years old… at least… poor dear thing…….. This will be fun, I think… at the very least it will make a swell door stop. 🙂

Well, the halls of our Capitol were supposed to be non controversial… it said so in the rules of the contest. Whoever wrote the rules did that to prevent exactly what just happened…

Rep Ick Ick Cummings, (Rat-Ga), has come out against Trump in a most vehement manner. Scared sh**less that his press presence msy hsve faded and his loyal constituency msy hsvevto go out and earn a living, he gavebone of his embarrassingly predictable Obama-of-a-lesser quality honky attacks. Local news showed the piece about in the middle of a string of reports on thecdaily You Konw Who shootings including a SWAT standoff where they extracted an armed Usual Suspect suspect from an apartment about two blocks from our New Orleans house. He was wanted on st least one charge of murder and four counts of attempted murder. Go get ’em, Cummings.

Cummings let off a barrage of tweets slamming Trump’s business empire and earnings. Then again being a Rat congressperson maybe his unease with and misunderstanding of Trump’s largely due to his deep unfamiliarity with what business is and how money’s earned vice legally stolen from those who earn it.

I’m taking some goats to an auction in Kansas next week, was just looking at animals they have consigned and they have a camel.
It would be kind of cool to own a camel. I wonder what I could tell my husband to convince him we need a camel. lol

I still don’t hear the end of the llama that came with a package deal of goats once. He was the one who was spit on and pawed at. It was funny and still is from my viewpoint. He just doesn’t seem to be able to see it. 🙂

You can crossbreed camels and llamas (lamas to with enough booze), that should get you one solidly irritating beast with no stable manners. Think Cummings with more hair. Annnnnd around it cones again.
