WisPolitics: Elections Commission rejects Stein request for hand recount of 3 million votes cast in Wisconsin presidential race

WisPolitics Election Blog:

The state Elections Commission today rejected Green Party candidate Jill Stein’s request for a hand recount of the 3 million votes cast in Wisconsin’s presidential race.

That means she’d have to seek a court order to have all 72 counties count ballots by hand. Instead, the commission approved allowing the counties to decide which method worked best for them.

The commission also set a 4:30 p.m. Tuesday deadline for Stein, independent Rocky De La Fuente or both to pay the fee covering the expected costs. That estimate will be delivered to the campaigns by the end of today.

Under the timeline approved today, the recount would begin Thursday. Counties would have to wrap up their work by 8 p.m. Dec. 12 after the commission moved up a proposed deadline. That was done to give the commission staff more time to deal with any issues that arise during the recount.

IMO this is headed nowhere. Now each county has to decide how to count. Chaos is going to ensue and they will never make the deadline, Milwaukee will decide to count all votes for Hillary. Trump’s attorney’s will smack their nasty little hooves. And so it will go county by county. I suspect it is Hillary trying to play a card that she doesn’t have.

Trump has already called Hillary’s bluff by calling on countries with knowledge of the Clinton Foundation shenanigans to go after Hillary. Hillary just doesn’t know how to live without holding any cards.

I’ve been traveling today, and haven’t followed much of this, but I did hear, as I’m sure y’all did, that if a State was unable to complete a full-blown recount that those States electoral votes are take out of the equation and the 270 total as well. If anyone can update me, it would be appreciated.

I honestly do not understood what their game is. From what I’ve heard, and like you I’ve kind of been out of the loop today, they missed the deadline in Pennsylvania and Michigan certified their vote. How is Wisconsin not being included going to help them?

I could be wrong, but I thought those were the 3 states they were targeting.

If Stein/Clinton succeed in holding the electoral votes back because they can’t be certified as the votes are still being recounted (I believe this is part of the goal because it will wind up in court and Stein is raking the money in at the moment and Clinton is feeling relevant) only 26 electoral votes would be held back, meaning that Trump will have 290 EV. I for one don’t believe it will get that far.

Pennsylvania is out. Stein missed the deadline.

This is all a horse and pony show, Trump won, he will be certified by the Electoral College on December 19th.

I could honestly see this hurting the democrats if this recount allows the fraud they committed to be proven.
It’s all a bunch of bs.

They ain’t looking for demon fraud. But they have teed Trump off enough that he may just move that up on his presidential “to do” list.

This is all about the optics, delegitimizing Trump’s presidency. Wait for it on inauguration day the MSM and the demons will be talking about Trump’s presidency beginning under a cloud of unease because of the popular vote and whatever noises they attach to this malicious recount.

Yes, the democrats aren’t looking, but not all those conducting the recount are democrats. I also heard Trump is sending the lawyers in.

Now if the fraud is found in some of the counties, the MSM will suddenly have their mouths wired shut and you won’t hear another word about recount.
I do expect them to harp on the popular vote nonstop for at least the next 2 years.

I meant to add that the recount, the protesters, the safety pin whiny crowd, the removers of the American flag, the wavers of the Mexican flag are all damaging the demon party. 2018 is going to be a landslide if they keep this nonsense up.

PS. I saw a post on Gab “Don’t bring a safety pin to a machete fight.” Bravo!

Clinton her/hisself are cagily staying out of this, letting their minions do the dirty work andvtake the flak. Hillary, big Keane eyes, sitting there saying it’s not her, it’s her campaign staff, and they’re just interested in seeing that the entire process is dobe correctly and honestly. After all, she’s already conceded.
Stein is a fool being played for a fool by much better puppeteers than she’ll ever be. This is her 15 minutes being given to her by manipulators, she’s had more publicity in a few weeks this recount’s been on the board than she had during the entire campaign she ran.
