We have a few days of a slower pace in the Presidential race. Here’s a video story of Donald Trump’s 35-year journey to where he is today.

You can really see the consistency in those clips. I get really annoyed when the pontificating pundits say that Trump won’t give any details about how he is going to go about bringing on the change and bringing back job, etc. I think he gives a lot of details.

That’s why I thought this compilation was so useful – it shows that he has had pretty much the same philosophy for a long time.

Q. What is the difference between Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton?
A. Hillary lies out of the left side of her mouth and Ted lies out of the right side of his mouth.

The NY Times Visited A Trump Campaign Office And Found Something They NEVER Expected — It Says A Lot
“What about us?”
The New York Times found what it called an “unlikely melting pot” when its reporters descended on a Donald Trump campaign office in Tampa, Fla.
“For a campaign frequently depicted as offering a rallying point for the white working class, the people volunteering to help Mr. Trump here are noteworthy for their ethnic diversity,” reported the Times on Sunday. “They include a young woman who recently arrived from Peru; an immigrant from the Philippines; a 70-year-old Lakota Indian; a teenage son of Russian immigrants; a Mexican-American.”
The Times article included anecdotes from several campaign workers, and drew some common themes.
” … many spoke openly about how fears centered on race and ethnicity were at the heart of their support for Mr. Trump. To a large extent, they traced those fears to the scars they still bear from the Great Recession — lost jobs, drained 401(k)’s, home foreclosures, rising debt, the feeling that the country is broken,” the Times wrote.
“More than anything, several Trump volunteers here said, the Great Recession exposed a corrupt, out-of-touch ruling class in Washington that allows big corporations to outsource jobs at will while doing nothing to address millions of illegal immigrants who compete for jobs and drain government coffers,” the Times wrote.
“In Mr. Trump, they say, they see a potential antidote to all of this. A man too wealthy to be bought or co-opted. A man with the blunt-force clarity to declare that he is ready to Make America Great Again,” the Times wrote. ….

Trump Campaign Releases New Details About Sessions’ Role As Foreign Policy Adviser
“The news that I’m here to tell you about tonight,” Miller said on The Kelly File, “is that Senator Sessions is the Chairman of his Foreign Policy Committee. And that’s a major piece of news, I mean, who’s Sen. Ted Cruz’s guy? Who’s John Kasich’s guy?”
For first time, Miller detailed the effort Sessions has poured into this new role. “Jeff Sessions has been meeting for hours now putting together a team of foreign policy advisers, military experts, [and] intelligence experts,” Miller said. “I had a chance to speak to Sen. Sessions today and his military advisers for about half an hour before coming here and we discussed some robust foreign policy ideas.”
Miller informed viewers that Trump has “sat down with Senator Jeff Sessions and has spoken about these [foreign policy] issues at length.”
Miller also discussed the expertise Sessions would be bringing to the role: “Sessions has been for twenty years on the Armed Services Committee” and “is one of the most respected members of the Senate,” Miller said. “Anyone who knows Jeff Sessions will tell you that he is the most straight-shooting, sincere, honest, [and] frankly apolitical person that you will ever meet in Washington.”

D.W. Ulsterman On The GOP’s Anti-Trump Brokered Convention Fiasco…
http://ulstermanbooks.com/d-w-ulsterman-gops-anti-trump-brokered-convention-fiasco/
As of today, Donald Trump is the only candidate left in the race who has a realistic chance of winning a majority of delegates. I know there will be some Ted Cruz supporters who don’t wish to hear that, but the facts are the facts. Cruz is an increasingly distant second in the delegate count, appears to have been shut out entirely during last Tuesday’s multiple-state primary races, and if the whispers are correct, is for the first time in months, facing a campaign that is growing short on cash. Perhaps if figures like Rubio and Carson and Kasich had stepped out of the race sooner, that present reality would have been different, but it is what it is. Donald Trump’s campaign is now outrunning the Cruz campaign by leaps and bounds. Cruz would need to win approximately 80% of the remaining delegates to secure the nomination and do so in states not favorable to his version of Republicanism. Trump needs a far lower percentage to lock up that nomination, and has the opportunity to do so in far more “Trump-friendly” upcoming primary elections.
And so we arrive at a Republican Party willing to seemingly tear itself apart out of spite. It is an act of betrayal against its own voters, voters the political elite so clearly despise.
HOW DARE THEY THINK FOR THEMSELVES!

I saw a headline on Drudge earlier that said:
Cruz Keeps Going
Needs 87% Of Remaining Delegates
I know I’m going to piss off Cruz supporters again, but frankly after all the things I’ve been called and threats threw at me before I ever said a bad word about Cruz I don’t care. The facts are Cruz cannot get 87% of the remaining delegates, Cruz has only one goal and it’s the same goal as the establishment and that is to try and prevent Trump from getting the magic number and allow the party to choose our nominee. His words are a bunch of bull, his actions are what is important.

I was wondering if I should even bother listening to the free on-line recording or not. I just got my copy of the 1995 copy of “The Age of Federalism” today and wanted to start that.

Ted Crus needs 87% of the remaining delegates
to win the nomination. He cannot get that. So, he continues in hopes to win by a default, even though it won’t be what the majority of the voters voted for. He does not care. He is willing to play the Establishment game to keep the Establishment in Control. Ted Cruz is willingly undermining and attempting to manipulate the vote away from the voters. Yes, It sucks for Cruz supporters that the leader is Trump but I am finding it harder and harder to maintain respect for Cruz supporters going along with this Elite behavior where a few know what is best for the majority and “correct the vote”. It is bothersome and destroys their testimony when they continue, in light of the party’s plans, to be a part of this Elite game out of desperation to get a “Godly man to lead the country”. God and Holy are peace; not desperation. Shame on Ted Cruz.
