Jeb Bush is bummed out and angry – at all of us. He’s spent more than 32 million dollars on ads, and his return on investment is practically nil.
He expected a coronation, and instead got a kick in the butt. He was supposed to be the winner – everybody in the Republican establishment told him so. Now, with his prospects of winning the Presidency circling the drain, he’s angry and whiney. He can’t understand why a vulgarian like Trump is popular with the electorate, and gets all of that free publicity.
Some have suggested perhaps Jeb Bush really didn’t want to be the next Leader of the Free World. That apparently is not the least bit true – not only did he want to be president, he fully expected he would be. What he didn’t expect was that after working so hard, voters would so quickly dismiss him in favor of candidates far less mainstream and far more vocal regarding just how messed up business as usual in America has become.
That reality has left Jeb Bush on the outside looking in, and it appears Republican voters are just fine leaving him out there.
Poor Jebby!

Perhaps he remembers saying he didn’t need conservatives to win the WH??? I certainly do.

I remember it as well. It would be nice if he’d just go away now. I think he should go to Mexico and experience all the love he can handle.

“Trump is arrogant but he’s not an evil man. He’s a hot head and a negotiator, but not a conniver. So I think these fascist fears are way over blown. He has a basic Allegiance to america, it’s history, values and hard working people. As opposed to the left which is allied with international socialists, anti-constitutional systems and perpetually aggreived identity groups. Of course we might prefer a rational republican opposition to the left. Times up on that. If Trump turns out to be awful, it’s still the fault of the RINOs who we begged for decades to do the right thing. They attacked us and sold us out to our enemies, as we begged them for partnership. We were told for decades to hold our noses and vote for their losers – anything less was us being childish. Now, the first time they might have to hold their nose, they are looking for the door.
Suck it up boys, like you made us do 10x. This is really all your fault. (And, in the middle of chastising us over support for Trump, the RINOs pass the omnibus, making that 61,683 sellouts in a row. You suck. You’re not even trying to pretend that you’re on our side.)” – Jeffrey Varasano

Stella,
I am of the opinion (and I am not alone) that the GOP is done. It is now time to bury it, before it stinks up the joint.
While many may take umbrage with this, Americans (Patriotic, Conservative… the Traditional Americans) need to see that this is actually a huge, breaking opportunity.
The opportunity is that, deprived of a moral and class enemy (the former Republican party), the Democrat party itself is doomed to follow the GOP into the grave of history. It is the sound of one hand clapping.
It is my hope that Americans will focus not on the grief of the loss of the GOP, but hail the core principles of what makes and made America great. America can be made great again! Do it for the children! Keep your eye on the horizon and OWN that future.

This is posted for illustration of the point that the GOP is done. I do not advocate killing, harming or consuming Elephants.
I have eaten Minke Whale in iceland and found it A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. But, I digress.

I think some are not old enough to recognize what conservative is and others have forgotten. Republicans today are less conservative than democrats were 30 years ago. If both parties die, I for one won’t mourn them and instead will be singing Hallelujah if the clock starts turning backwards.

That’s exactly what I tell folks who question my support for Trump, he may be the flaming liberal I once believed him to be, but so what if he is? It won’t be any different than Republicans we’ve been sending to Washington. Not to mention he has an ego bigger than Texas, his main selling point has been a wall and deporting illegals, his ego will push him to move mountains to do it imho.

Wow. That is some pretty lousy “bang for the buck”. I hope YEB!’s campaign is under warrantee, he can probably still return it under Florida Lemon Laws.

Or exchange it for a Sanitary Board position somewhere?

Addendum…. Yeb!= white bread toast.
Not a nice, artisanal white bread like you’d see at Wegmann’s, but the soft, squishy industrial bread made by Wonder. I think they named it that because people wondered if it was meant to be eaten. Or so I heard.

I would not trust YEB! to man the intake hose on a septic service truck, let alone a Sanitary Board seat somewhere.

Board members never do the hands-on stuff. They just vote on unpopular and unnecessary rate increases. He’d fit right in w/that.
