Fox News reports that Enrique Marquez is about to be indicted by federal authorities, although the nature of the charges is not clear. He was interviewed by the FBI following the search of his mother’s home.
New information shows that there was a much deeper relationship than “next door neighbors” between Syed Rizwan Farook and Enrique Marquez than previously had been disclosed. It seems that they have been friends since their high school days.
The gunman who massacred his co-workers in the San Bernardino rampage last week and the friend who bought the assault rifles used in the shooting “were plotting an actual attack” in 2012, including purchasing weapons, but became apprehensive and shelved the plan because of law enforcement activity and arrests in the area, authorities said.
Marquez and Farook have been friends for years and became family last year with a sister-in-law in common.
The two men were listed as witnesses on the marriage license when Farook’s brother, Raheel, wed a Russian woman in 2011.
Three years later, Raheel Farook and his wife, Tatiana, were witnesses to Marquez’s nuptials with her sister, Mariya Chernykh, according to Riverside County records.
The ceremony took place at the Islamic Society of Corona-Norco, according to the marriage license, though the mosque’s facility manager denied it occurred there.
Azmi Hasan said Wednesday that he understood Marquez had converted to Islam, but said he was not a member of that mosque. Marquez had only worshipped there three to four times over seven years, said Hasan, who hadn’t seen him in about four years.
Marquez purchased the weapons that Farook and his wife used in the attack in San Bernardino that killed 14 and wounded 21.
Right after the shootings, Marquez didn’t go home, but called his mother to let her know he was safe. He then checked himself into a mental health facility. His current location is unknown (at least to the media).

Hopefully the reports of Marquez not being too bright are true. He may be a treasure trove of links and information. I read somewhere that he was employed by Walmart as a security guard at some point in his life.
The fact that Marquez went to the Bin to escape justice for a day or two gives me great hope that Marquez is a dope. Nothing like a stooge who doesn’t know how valuable his knowledge is. I wonder how long they have had Marquez in custody, it sure seems that he hasn’t invoked his right to an attorney or silence.

Tashfeen and Sayed were supposed to be part of a wider attack, one which involved multiple Muslims in multiple cities, they were waiting for the “go sign” as were the others. Terrorist Sayed Farook got pissed at having to be at a Christmas party and tired of playing the role of “moderate Muslim” (nervous behavior reported by his co-workers).
Sayed decides, crack off on the waiting for the signal (he possibly didn’t even know there were coordinated attacks planned by a leader) and decides to kill the infidels celebrating Christ’s birthday.
I know one piece of the evidence that points away from this is that at least Tashfeen’s phone was only a couple of days old, but it seems buying multiple throw away phones is the norm for Muslims with the mind set of planning a massacre.
Anyhow… so Sayed comes home and he and Tasfeen have the ammunition and guns they need to cause great loss of life and damage. They don’t really know if the bombs will work because they are not at that stage yet but their hatred of Americans is so great they don’t care.
Time to praise Allah.
So they smash their phones (in the long run it is more an act of spontaneity than an act of thoroughly destroying a devise that might lead authorities to Tashfeen and Sayed’s handlers) suit up and head out for the kill.
Whether or not the item recovered in the lake is related to the terrorists is yet to be seen, but if it is that would lend more evidence to the Tashfeen and Sayed acting before the attack signal was given.
Now Tashfeen and Sayed have thrown their terrorists cohorts into a frenzy of cave diving, that would account for the perpetual airplane surveillance and the disorganized end game that brought the barbaric Farooks to their demise.
