President Trump Announces the Appointment of Judge Jeanine Pirro as U.S. Attorney for the D.C. District

President Trump went to the Fox News well once again to fill out his administration Thursday, picking “The Five” co-host Jeanine Pirro to serve as interim US Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Pirro, 73, is a former Westchester County prosecutor, judge and district attorney.

She was county prosecutor for 15 years, rising to the level of assistant district attorney, before being elected judge in 1990.

In 1993, she became the first woman elected to Westchester County’s top law-enforcement post.

Florida Highway Patrol bust migrants using new law

Florida leads the way, assisting ICE to apprehend illegal aliens.

The state has also been working closely with federal agencies like ICE and local law enforcement to enforce immigration laws and enhance public safety.

  • Operation Tidal Wave: A joint effort between Florida and federal law enforcement that led to the arrest of over 1,100 illegal immigrants, including gang members and those with criminal records.

  • Florida Immigration Enforcement Board: A new entity established to coordinate with federal immigration agencies like ICE to enforce immigration laws locally.

  • 287(g) Agreements: Formal agreements between Florida law enforcement and federal agencies to assist in immigration enforcement.

Victory Day for World War II, 2025

I think it is right and proper for Americans to commemorate/celebrate the end of WWII, as our allies have celebrated VE Day (Victory in Europe Day) since the end of that war.
