President Trump Arrives at Amiri Diwan, Qatar, May 14, 2025

The Amiri Diwan of the State of Qatar is the sovereign body and the administrative office and official workplace of the Amir of the State of Qatar. The Amiri Diwan represents the figurative and bureaucratic center of Qatar. The building also hosts the office of Qatar’s Deputy Amir and the Prime Minister.

President Donald Trump landed in Qatar on Wednesday, where he was welcomed by the country’s emir, Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

President Trump’s Visit to Saudi Arabia

President Donald Trump is in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, the first leg of his three-nation visit to the Middle East this week.

Trump and the the Saudi crown prince shook hands and signed an economic agreement between the US and Saudi Arabia.

The agreements include energy cooperation, modernizing the Saudi armed forces, judicial cooperation between the Justice Ministry and the Saudi judiciary, assistance between customs authorities and collaborations between the Smithsonian Museum and Saudi institutions.
