Morning Lucille! I appreciate flowers more as I get older. I am fascinated and enchanted by the delightful arrangement you can make with her different colors, sizes, and types of them. I like doing that, and I wish I could get a part time job in a florist shop because I can’t fill my house up.

It’s hard to find small florists these days. They have prettier, fresher flowers. Their livelihood depends on being better than the larger chain stores that carry flowers, too.

Good morning, Menagerie! I may have mentioned this before, but on my last job, my boss had flowers delivered to his office every Monday. One of my tasks was to arrange them in a crystal Baccarat vase. Since I didn’t want them to go to waste, any flowers still in good shape on Monday morning were made into bouquets for the support staff members. Those flowers not in good shape were put in a box to dry out and from those I made even more arrangements. Loved that part of my job.

President Trump on Wednesday threatened Canada and the European Union with “very heavy tariffs” or an end to all trade amid the EU’s plans to welcome Canada as a member.
