    Hibiscus × rosa-sinensis is a cultigen of tropical hibiscus, a flowering plant in the Hibiscus genus and Hibisceae tribe of the family Malvaceae. It is an artificial hybrid created in cultivation during the pre-Columbian era by Polynesians in the west Pacific from the species Hibiscus cooperi and H. kaute. It is widely cultivated as an ornamental plant in the tropics and subtropics. (Wikipedia)

    Aloe vera is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe. It is widely distributed, and is considered an invasive species in many regions of the world. An evergreen perennial, it originates on the Arabian Peninsula, but also grows wild in other tropical, semi-tropical, and arid climates around the world. It is cultivated commercially and has been used for centuries as a topical treatment. The species is considered attractive for decorative purposes, and is often used indoors as a potted plant.

    A rose is either a woody perennial flowering plant of the genus Rosa, in the family Rosaceae, or the flower it bears. There are over three hundred species and tens of thousands of cultivars. The plants range in size and form, from trailing and erect shrubs to climbers up to 7 metres in height. Sharp prickles appear on the stems of many species. Their flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through pinks, reds, oranges and yellows.

    Nymphaea is a genus of hardy and tender aquatic plants in the family Nymphaeaceae. The genus has a cosmopolitan distribution. Many species are cultivated as ornamental plants, and many cultivars have been bred. Some  occur as introduced species where they are not native, and some are weeds. Plants of the genus are known commonly as water lilies, or waterlilies in the United Kingdom.

    Good mornin’, and happy Hump Day! I like it when it gets here a day early! I felt like we needed something shiny this morning, and I found this antique sterling pot. We might have to brew a few pots, but at least we’ll be looking good! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

      I like sudoku, but I want to do it on my laptop.

      I feel so bad for the children who have the fetal alcohol Spectrum disorder. For two years while I was trying to get pregnant, I quit drinking and the whole time I nursed my son I didn’t drink. I just wasn’t taking any chances.
