None over here on the border with MS. Musta rained itself out at your place.

I’m not sure we’ll be able to find Michigan peaches, but Gala and Honey Crisp apples are in abundance.
I enjoy Galas, but have not tried Honey Crisp.

Honey Crisp apples are delicious – sweet and crisp!

Check your local farmer’s market. Western Michigan sells produce in the area.

Good mornin’, and happy Hump Day! For some reason, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic this morning and found one of my old favorite coffee-making machines. Maybe I was hoping our Congress would return to the days of yesteryear and bring back the duel as a way to get some mind’s right in the swamp. Anyway, don’t worry about this thing looking back at ya! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Thank heavens, Wee!
After your tussle with the “dog” earlier, I can understand.
You go right ahead and sit a while.

Wee,
We could always adopt another Latin phrase on such mornings.
“Festina Lente.” Make haste slowly.

Mornin’ Tex! It’s a fine coffee maker. As for Washingtonians, I think many of them are beyond correction, and should be sent home.

Maybe we could pay them for production…

Good afternoon, Czarina,
That should be part of the contract. It is for every other employment.

National Blueberry Popsicle Day – never saw one of these
Healthcare Environmental Services Week – of course we want well cleaned hospitals
National Compassionate Leadership Week
World Coconut Day – I remember the first coconut my father brought home and cracked open after we moved from Oklahoma to Miami. It was fascinating all the layers and work to get to the juice and the meat (yes, it is called coconut meat). Still one of my fave treats.

Clean hospitals! Boy, I could tell ya about a filthy one (1996-97) in Dallas. Mornin’ Czarina!

Morning, czarina! In my opinion, hospitals have more problems than cleanliness. Never had a blueberry popsicle. Sounds good, but imagine the result if it melts onto your clothing.

Czarina,
Blueberry popsicle…
Isn’t that the bright blue one in the multipack sticks for children?
Maybe Aus will weigh in later.

I think that’s blue raspberry.

On hospital cleanliness:
I spoke with a member of one of the best cleaning teams I had ever seen in a hospital. She related that the surgeon was directly involved with the team and considered them an essential part of the patient’s recovery. They were proud of what they did, and they had great respect for that very talented surgeon.
He was correct. And he had a terrific impact on morale.
