        Good mornin’, Lucille! I loved the original 2-3 Star Wars movies. I can’t even fathom what has happened to the franchise now.

          Hard to tell what happened to that franchise. The original was incredible. I saw it at a special screening and the audience went crazy with enthusiasm. So very well done.

          On a totally different issue, say a prayer for the Great Northwest as large swaths are caught in an expanding wildfire. Western parts of Spokane, WA which is only about 50 miles from my place, is not affected yet, but you never know.

            Forgive me for an incoherent note re the fire. I’m a tad shaken & mistakenly gave the impression that Spokane isn’t affected. IT IS, but so far only the western part which is further away from my place than downtown Spokane. Needless to say, I’m quite concerned anyway. EVERYTHING is extremely, dangerously dry.

              Oh, my, the fire jumped the Spokane River and is now in Spokane proper. Honestly, I’m trying to think of what to pack for evacuation. SCARY!

              PLEASE PRAY FOR THE ENTIRE REGION!

                  I’m still trembling this morning, though I did have a good sleep from 3:15AM-7:30AM.

                  I’ve got a small cart I can sit on ready with necessities should we get an evacuation notice.

                  The videos are awful. I called the 911 information line and they said there was no notice yet.

    Mornin’ All. A little cooler this morning. It is supposed to be a little cooler for the next day or two. I’m so glad to see it.

    Prayers for all those in the line of the fires, whichever fires. We are getting the smoke from West of us and I hope they get those out soon.
