    Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! We’re going basic this morning, but we’re putting out the volume. The old office machine, but on steroids, so there’s plenty for everyone. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

    For years, I think most of us assumed that the vaunted Smithsonian museums were playing it straight down the middle. At least one of them is in the thick of the movement to continue down the oppressor/oppressed path. I had no idea they were such a big supplier of school curricula and “assistance”. Fox has had a couple days of pulling the curtain back and it’s just what you might expect. Example 1A – Objectivity is a sign of “white supremacy”. The list is long.

      Can’t say enough good about that list. But that museum is not on my list.

      Rather like that list of the “worst” states to live in.

      The prejudice doesn’t even register with those list compilers.

      Those qualities exist in individuals brought up (or learn to) respect the reasons behind them, and that’s completely independent of skin color.

    Mornin’ All. Partly cloudy and 70*, heading to 90*. 69% humidity. A cleaner was downstairs in the apartment that is empty. It is absolutely cool down there. It backs into the hill on the sides and back. I had always pictured it being dark and dismal. Well, it is really nice, very updated, and has plenty of light. I still like mine better. I have a lot of windows and they are second story windows on the back side so I can leave them open at night. And, I know this hot spell will be over soon and we will be fighting two feet of snow.

    Well, hope the weather has settled down where you are. Enjoy the day.
