    Stellars….

Beautiful Places in the United Kingdom….

Westminster Bridge is a road-and-foot-traffic bridge crossing over the River Thames in London, linking Westminster on the west side and Lambeth on the east side. The bridge is painted predominantly green, the same colour as the leather seats in the House of Commons which is on the side of the Palace of Westminster nearest to the bridge, but a natural shade similar to verdigris…

    Hadrian’s Wall, Northern England…

    Urquhart Castle, Scottish Highlands…

Wonderful presentation by the giver, as to motive. It made the hesitant couple accept the gift, and not feel the less for it.

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Looks live it’s been busy around here, so I got the coffee brewing ASAP. I found something a little different in the vintage section. It’s definitely different. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Looking a bit Scandinavian today, Texan!

AI says: The best-known coffee in Scandinavia is often characterized by its light roast profile, which emphasizes the coffee’s origin flavors and acidity. Notable brands include Tim Wendelboe and The Coffee Collective, which have gained international acclaim for their high-quality, sustainably sourced beans.

      Characteristics of Scandinavian Coffee

Scandinavian coffee culture is distinct and celebrated for several reasons.

Innovative Brewing Methods — Techniques such as pour-over and Aeropress are popular, enhancing the coffee’s flavor.

Light Roasting — Scandinavian coffee is typically roasted lightly, allowing for a brighter flavor profile that highlights the beans’ natural characteristics.

Sustainability — Many Scandinavian roasters prioritize sustainable sourcing practices, ensuring ethical production.

Fika Tradition — Coffee is often enjoyed during ‘fika’, a social coffee break that emphasizes relaxation and connection.

Mornin’ All. A beautiful day here at 67* and sunny. It is supposed to stay in the high 80’s and 90’s for another week, but drop down into the 50’s at night. That is pretty much doable if one can keep the windows open at night.

Hope you all can stay safe and comfortable from whatever weather you are experiencing.
