INGREDIENTS
125 mL (½ cup) butter
125 mL (½ cup) sugar
125 mL (½ cup) brown sugar
1 large egg
250 mL (1 cup) rye flour
125 mL (½ cup) all-purpose flour
5 mL (1 tsp) baking powder
2 mL (½ tsp) baking soda
2 mL (½ tsp) coarse salt
150 mL (⅔ cup) dried blueberries
175 mL (¾ cup) bittersweet chocolate chips / chunks
Method:
Preheat oven to 200ºC (400ºF).
Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg.
Whisk together flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Add the flour mixture a little at a time until incorporated.
Stir in chocolate and blueberries.
Bake 10-12 minutes.

I’ll have to try those when it’s treat time. I keep rye flour on hand to go into my sourdough starter, and also for some of my brown breads. Also, I’ve discovered I like chocolate chunks better than chips.
And as much as I love blueberries, I’m with you on the cherries too. I bet that would be delicious in this cookie too!
