Good mornin’, and happy Saturday! Running a little behind as I’ve begun birthday celebrations for Mrs. T. It’s kind of a big one for her and we have to be very gentle. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

This looks like another rather busy, but good day. Anytime you can combine ice cream and cake, that’s a W in my book.

Morning czarina! Lots to pick from today. I love pineapple, but that ice cream cake is really appealing too.

I always wore sunglasses in Florida. I figured I wouldn’t have to in Montana, but the sun is so intense here when it is out, that I need them even more. I usually wear a hat that has a wide brim on those days, too.
Ice cream cake is so good on a hot day.
PTSD has to be taken seriously.
I love onions, too. I didn’t used to, but I really like the sweet onions, especially cooked.
Summersgiving (?) is interesting.
I love the smell of real orange blossoms.
I will pass on the ragweed.

Good day, Czarina! I’ll take pineapple today, both fresh and in upside down cake…it’s good for us humans….

Mornin’ All. It is 60* and chilly right now. The sun is peaking out around the clouds and it feels damp, but they have backed off on the rain forecast for this morning. It did rain again last night. Such good sleeping weather.
Prayers for the people affected by the earthquakes.
Enjoy your day.

We’ve heard about the heat over in Europe. This article epitomizes the political class vs. the working class. Ursula and EU management shut off AC in their 13-story building for the first seven floors. Management and Ursula’s offices are between the 8th and 13th floor. Whou would’a thunk it.

Justice Clarence Thomas Earns Nationwide Praise with This Brilliant Line in Opinion Supporting End of Temporary Protected Status for Haitians and Syrians
By Cullen Linebarger Jun. 27, 2026 8:00 am
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the US Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in a 6-3 vote that the Trump Administration is allowed to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians.
The three liberal justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson dissented. Justice Samuel Alito wrote the majority ruling.
The Trump Administration will now strip TPS from 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians.

Heard on PBS this morning a bunch of employers whining about losing their good working Haitians. What they’ve been doing for years is pay them poor wages, and the nursing homes and personal care homes won’t be able to replace the underpaid Haitians for the crummy wages.
Also saw 58% of Haitians are on some kind of assistance from the Federal govt, as different from 28% of US citizens.
