Good mornin’, and happy hump day! There wasn’t really any information about this reputed hand-painted pot other than it was from England. Maybe they should have used it when the King was here. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Apologies for the length everyone, but I couldn’t just post part of this. It’s the single best description on my Tennessee home I’ve ever come across.

Come visit, I’ll really cook y’all a fine breakfast of biscuits and gravy, or we’ll do beans, taters, cornbread, fried okra, and all the fixins for lunch or supper!

I couldn’t love my East Tennessee mountains and valleys more, and oh, that Tennessee River!

Tennessee is one of the only places on Earth where the geography feels like it sat down, ignored every regional category in America, and said:

“What if we just did ALL of them at once?” 🌄🌪️🎸🚗😭

Because somebody looked at a state packed with mountains, rivers, farmland, forests, music cities, caves, lakes, football obsession, and weather chaos and said:

    “You know what?

Let’s stretch this thing across the entire South.”

    And somehow…

    it worked. 💀

Tennessee sits right in America’s personality crossroads, which means this state somehow contains:

    • giant mountain ranges

    • rolling farmland

    • deep forests 🌲

    • cave systems

    • massive lakes

    • country backroads

    • booming cities

    • college football emotional damage 🏈

    • music history everywhere 🎸

    • and at least one black bear currently investigating somebody’s campsite in Gatlinburg.

West Tennessee feels like Southern river country mode:

    • flat farmland forever 🌾

    • humid air thick enough to fight back

    • barbecue smoke drifting across highways 🍖

    • Mississippi River sunsets

    • and Memphis traffic moving like everybody’s late for a blues concert.

Then Middle Tennessee enters the chat:

    • rolling green hills

    • giant suburbs appearing overnight 🏗️

    • Nashville cranes multiplying hourly

    • country music energy everywhere

    • and enough bachelor/bachelorette parties to qualify as a seasonal migration pattern. 😭

Then East Tennessee shows up and the entire state changes personalities again.

    Suddenly it’s:

    • mountains everywhere 🌄

    • winding roads through forests

    • waterfalls hidden in the hills

    • fog rolling through valleys at sunrise

    • cabins tucked into the Smokies

    • and tourists driving 11 mph while staring at leaves. 💀

    And somehow…

    the Smoky Mountains feel ancient.

    Clouds hanging low over ridges.

Blue haze stretching across the horizon.

Rivers cutting through valleys like they’ve been there forever.

    Meanwhile Dollywood exists nearby like:

    “Anyway… y’all want cinnamon bread?” 😭

    Then there’s the cities.

    Nashville on one side:

    • traffic with emotional issues 🚗

    • hot chicken capable of changing your life 🔥

    • Broadway glowing at night

    • live music pouring out of every building

    • and somebody absolutely playing “Wagon Wheel” for the 900th time.

    Memphis on the other:

    • barbecue debates with legal intensity 🍖

    • blues history everywhere 🎷

    • FedEx trucks dominating reality

    • Grizzlies fans surviving purely on emotional endurance

    • and Beale Street somehow still louder than your hotel walls.

Meanwhile Chattanooga quietly sneaks in like:

    “Oh by the way…

we also have mountains, rivers, outdoor adventure, and suspiciously pretty scenery.” 🚴🌊

And Tennessee’s underground is basically its own hidden world.

    Caves.

    Underground rivers.

    Water systems beneath the hills.

Entire caverns hidden below farmland and forests.

Which means beneath all this beautiful scenery is basically:

    • mystery humidity 💀

    • underground waterfalls

    • absolute darkness

    • and enough cave tours to make flashlights feel emotionally important.

    And somehow…

the weather is even more unstable than the geography.

    Tennessee doesn’t experience weather normally.

    Tennessee experiences atmospheric improvisation.

    One minute:

    ☀️ sunshine

    🌄 peaceful mountain views

🚗 windows down on the highway

    Forty minutes later:

    ⛈️ thunder shaking the house

    🌪️ tornado warnings nearby

    🌧️ rain coming sideways

⚡ lightning turning the sky into a concert stage

Then sunset suddenly looks beautiful like everybody didn’t just panic an hour ago. 😭

    And despite all the chaos…

Tennessee somehow built its own identity:

    part Appalachian wilderness…

    part Southern tradition…

    part music capital…

    part mountain escape…

    part football religion…

    part road trip fever dream.

It’s one of the only states where:

    • weather apps feel emotionally manipulative 🌪️

    • cave tours are normal weekend plans

    • traffic and bears are both local hazards 🐻

    • barbecue causes arguments

    • and everybody knows at least one backroad through the mountains that “saves time.”

    Warm.

    Stormy.

    Musical.

    Complicated.

    Beautifully unpredictable.

    And deep down…

Tennessee wouldn’t want just one personality even if it tried.

People are talking about flying out to California to vote in their election since they have no Voter ID law and there is a law that they can’t ask for ID.

The Altadena city won’t let people put a trailer in front of their burned out homes to live in until they can get the house rebuilt, but they could move into a tent on the street somewhere like the homeless. They have been told to move to a trailer park which leaves their home open to looting.

Trump Moves to Squeeze Illegal Aliens Out of the U.S. Financial System with New Executive Order Targeting Banking Loopholes

    By Jim Hoft – May. 20, 2026 8:15 am

In a new executive order issued Tuesday, the Trump administration directed the Treasury Department to increase scrutiny of financial activity tied to illegal immigration, including potential payroll tax evasion, concealed account ownership, off-the-books wage schemes, labor trafficking, and the use of Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) without verified legal presence documentation.
