Can anyone tell me how to copy a YouTube video and post it here? I used to be able to do that, and can’t figure out how now. Nothing seems to work.

This how I do it….
Select the video you wish to copy and while it’s playing, go to the top of the page and mouse-right-click once on the “YouTube.com” line, copy the line that pops up by once again clicking 1 time & select “copy”.
Then come to Stellas…where you enter your comment set-up, hit the “return” key on your keyboard and up should pop “Type / to choose a block”. You enter / and paste in the URL as instructed, then hit the blue “embed” box. Then hit the blue “Reply” box and it should all come onscreen.
I hope I didn’t complicate it too much. I’m the world’s worst at instructing anyone to do anything technical.

Between…”You enter / ” and “and paste in the URL as instructed” you need to choose “YouTube embed” from the list given.

In the years I used to post at the Treehouse before they left Word Press, I don’t recall ever having any problem posting as it was very uncomplicated. The MAC was my computer choice then, too. So I’m going to blame Word Press and not my technical inabilities…LOL!

Looks like you did it correctly. When you are at the video, simply copy the url (https:// …) and paste in the comment box. Be sure to have a blank line in the comment box before the line where you paste, and a blank line after.
