Good mornin’, Texan! I’ve never gotten down as far as Alabama. Love to see Huntsville, though.

National Living Donor Day
National Donate Life Blue and Green Day – to raise awareness about organ donation.
National Pet Day – seem to be a lot of pet days in the year…
National 8 Track Tape Day – not likely we have any tape decks anymore
National Day of Silence – brings awareness and illustrates to the schools and the colleges how intimidation, name-calling, and general bullying have a silencing effect.
National Submarine Day – Designed by Irish-American inventor John Phillip Holland in 1896, he launched the Holland VI on May 17, 1897, at Navy Lt. Lewis Nixon’s Crescent Shipyard in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The United States Navy later purchased the Holland VI on April 11, 1900. As the military’s first commissioned submarine, the Navy renamed it the USS Holland (SS-1).
National Cheese Fondue Day – I actually had two fondue pots, being they were wedding presents in 1971
National Barbershop Quartet Day

Good mornin’, czarina! I remember when fondue was all the rage, with the fancy pots and all the accoutrements! But who doesn’t love cheese! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

It seems like the schools and colleges teach the knowledge of “intimidation, name-calling, and general bullying have a silencing effect” to silence those who disagree.
Of course I used to love fondue pots for cheese and for chocolate. There was always one at a party back in the 70’s.
I never bought an 8 track, but after my father died in 2009, I gave his away. LOL. He hadn’t used it in years.

Forgot the submarines. We need to thank our submarine sailors for the work they do. You don’t hear too much about them.

This from a gentleman, M. A. Rothman, whom I follow on FB. I think it describes the d party to a T –
𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲
This is the best description of what Democrats do:
“𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘰, ’𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴.’ 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘰, ’𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘥?’”
Carolla’s analogy is devastating. Imagine your wife insists on leaving the front door open every night. Raccoons come in, trash everywhere, total disaster. You shut the door. She throws a fit 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵. Eventually, your kids say, “𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳.”
So you open the door. The raccoons are back—but at least there’s no more arguing.
“𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘰. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐𝘊𝘌, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮, 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘰, ’𝘈𝘳𝘦𝘯’𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘰𝘴? 𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭?’”
It’s political blackmail. Create the chaos, then sell yourself as the solution. Democrats have been running this play for years—obstruct every enforcement action, scream about the fallout, then campaign on “𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘤𝘺” (Gallup, Congressional approval at 17%).
Carolla’s solution? “𝘐’𝘮 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧∗𝘤𝘬 𝘶𝘱. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦’𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦. 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘯𝘴.”
𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧.

Mornin’ All. A bit foggy, overcast and pretty ugly out today. It is in the mid 40’s. Can’t believe this is the weather in Montana. But, I will take it. Hope you all have a nice day where you are.
