   I grew up in Miami and lived there through the first 20 years of the revolution and Fidel. It went from a fun, well off touristy place to a poor, dependent, isolated island. Most of the educated and professional people left in the 50’s when they got out easily, and 60’s when they had to escape its restrictions. It never prospered under communism. It remains a worn out shadow of 1960.

   Let the capitalists and those Cubans who remember its glory days back to run it and it will be prosperous in less than 10 years.
