Good mornin’, and happy Friday! Nothing says Spring like guys pulling their muscle cars out of the garage and polishing them up. I found something to honor that AND give us coffee this morning. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

    Good morning all!

While viewing Stella’s posting last night regarding the story of the heroic young wrestler who was hung for protesting the current government in Iran, I also noted the cross tattoo on the neck of one of the other prisoners. These arrests and executions are designed to deliberately demoralize significant segments of the opposition.

I pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are attempting to establish a better form of governance and a better life for Iranians in the future. It is my understanding that there is a significant growth of Christianity in Iran in spite of the tyranny of the mullahs. May they continue to wisely resist the evil, yet be harmless to the innocent. (Matthew 10:15)

In the meantime, these articles are encouraging.

This outlines some of the current strategy to help Iran achieve a change of government. According to an estimate by an Israeli official, some 80 percent of Iranians oppose the regime (but) the opposition is “fractionated.” It may well be helped with the following efforts.

National Macaron Day – The macaron is not the same as a macaroon. We’ll point out the obvious first–a macaron has one “o” and the macaroon has two “o’s”. A macaron is a meringue-based sandwich cookie originating in France. Its made with almond flour, egg whites, and sugar. The most identifiable feature of a macaron is the signature “foot” found at the bottom of the cookie. In comparison, a macaroon is a dense, chewy coconut mound.
How do you identify a macaron vs. a macaroon? A macaron is a colorful little cookie burger! A Macaroon looks like a toasted snowball.

National Ravioli Day – well that solves dinner.

National Proposal Day – is there enough time to plan a wedding?

    National Future Generations Day

    National Native American HIV/AIDS Day
