Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! Another exhausting week watching our President in action. Anyone tired of the “when will it all end” talk after less than three weeks? I found one of our go-to machines this morning that we go back to on a regular basis. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Another vaunted lefty icon falls to earth in a flaming pile of………. I wonder if the statues and road signs with his name will come down?

Mrs. T and I were watching Laura Ingraham interview Stephen Miller on her show last night, and when the segment ended we were livid. Her questions, demeanor, and overall attitude seemed like she had spent the day with Megyn Kelly.

She was all over Miller about why we hadn’t gamed out the Iranians turning on their “old friends” in the region, and when was this going to end. Why wasn’t the Strait of Hormuz cleared out by now, and it went on like this for about 10 minutes or so.

    National Certified Nurses’ Day

    Nati9nal Let’s Laugh Day

National Chocolate Caramel Day – the only food on the list today, glad it’s easy to enjoy

National Poultry Day – kiss a chicken?

    National Backyard Day

National Ag Day – as in agriculture

National Farm Rescuer Day – What was once a community tradition is now a nonprofit called Farm Rescue. Founded in 2005, Farm Rescue and its volunteers have assisted nearly 1,200 farm and ranch families throughout the region. The day encourages you to join the community that lends a hand when crisis strikes.

Whether a Farm Rescuer volunteers their time, talents, or financial resources, their commitment is valuable. Keeping a farm running is hard work. When the unexpected happens, many hands make the work manageable

    National Absolutely Incredible Kids Day

St Joseph’s Day – I was wrong when I announced this on the 15th. It is today.

      “National Let’s Laugh Day”,

I laughed at the thought of kissing a chicken.

I would be safer with a chocolate caramel.

      “Good morning” to all.

I admire nurses, but I am appalled at how many have made terrible Tin Tok and Youtube videos threatening MAGA supporters, or supposed MAGA supporters.

      Definitely let’s laugh today.

My middle granddaughter loves chickens almost as much as she loves pigs.

      Kudos to Farm Rescue.

There are many incredible kids out there.

Well, speaking of farm and ag stuff. I just got back from this place. It is virtually a flour warehouse. Lots of stuff specifically for sourdough, and set up in baking areas, breads, pastries and pies, and even pasta, with the best flours for each. Many kinds of honey, sorghum, meats, raw milk, farm fresh eggs. And n the bakery, teas and coffees you can get.

I left quite a bit poorer, but I have some new flours to try, and some good quality baking tools I’ve needed. Yes, needed!

If any of you bake, and want good flour, this is the place. Maybe they ship, I think they used to anyhow.

Mornin’ All. We are climbing back out of the 30’s and 40’s here. It is still somewhat damp and ugly out and the snow is gone mostly except on the mountains.

Hope the weather has settled down where you are. Enjoy the day,
