Good mornin’, and happy Monday! While this Country is more well known for serving tea, they also drink a bit of coffee as well. This is a hand-painted beauty. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Morning Stella, Wee, Tex & All πŸ˜€

Because I have to put in email & name every time I comment, mind if I put my Hello’s together here?

Stella, The penguins and ducks just make me smile – the waddle etc πŸ˜€

Tex that’s a lovely hand-painted coffee pot. I’m guessing from the 1920’s do you think?

Wee, thanks for the laugh. Laughter and prayer – the best way to start the day. Since I can’t have coffee (have not yet ordered some ‘cleaner’ coffee someone suggested), I’m thinking of just opening up some & smelling it πŸ˜πŸ™„ Forget fancy perfume, I prefer coffee!

Staying with the bird theme – Imagine the music from the Mission Impossible TV series when looking at these 2 birds breaking out of their cage!

In thinking of what to add to our happy little group, I realized so I was not repeating too often, I would need more than animals. I was thinking of adding flowers and gemstones – both beautiful & colorful additions I hope all will enjoy.

    Have a great day everyone ! 😁

I need to add a serious request:

My dear, dear best friend’s husband was diagnosed with Vitelliform dystrophy/Best disease OS OCT OS shows vitelliform deposit breaking down with new superior atrophy.Β  It was stable for a few years, but just now has become worse.

In the past week or so he has been to his regular eye doctor, a specialist eye doctor, & also Mass Eye & Ear in Massachusetts (The place to go for eyes in New England when other doctors can not help) They were told by all the docs that there is no cure, & it can/does lead to blindness.

I have started doing research about it. Does anyone know of any new treatments or even something being tested but not yet approved, or another eye hospital? I thought there was an eye hospital in Tenn. It seems that adult stem cell treatment would be great for a condition like this (adult, not embryo, stem cells are being used for varied conditions).

Any ideas or info will be greatly appreciated. The quicker something can be found to help, the better the chance to save his sight.

    Thanks to everyone in advance.

Afternoon All. Sunny, beautiful, and cool right here where I am, but off in the distance there are really dark ugly clouds. Rain and snow are forecast for the near future, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Hope everyone is all right and stays that way. Have a nice day.

National Barbie Day – introduced in 1959

    National Crabmeat Day

    National Meatball Day

    National Napping Day

National Get Over It Day – It” may be a variety of things. Sometimes we need to get over the small things like spilled milk or traffic. Even news such as being passed over for a promotion, poor grades, or an argument with a family member shouldn’t cause us to live our lives in a state of misery forever.Β

Wee Weed, news just reported 16 earthquakes in the last two weeks up your way! All in the 4-4.9 range. Feel anything?

Want to know how low they may go across the pond to appease the goat-herders. Here’s a hint.
