Day FOUR HUNDRED-THIRTEEN of Presidential recovery.

Death Valley, California is having the largest super bloom since 2016 because of all the rain this winter.
Death Valley National Park is experiencing its best wildflower superbloom since 2016, with vibrant displays of desert gold, phacelia, sand verbena, and other native species covering lower elevations. This rare phenomenon, triggered by record rainfall in fall 2025 and a wet winter, is expected to peak through mid to late March 2026, with higher elevations continuing to bloom into June.

Mornin’ Lucille 🙂
Was thinking how pretty & quaint, then saw gov’t building, figures it was of the brutalist period of architecture. The red & other bright colors on the older buildings really does pop versus all the blue & other background colors.

Good day, G&C! Showing the contrast between the two architectural styles and contemplating the potential lack of input by Greenlander citizens was why I slipped that zero-charm building in the grouping.
I could be totally wrong and Greenlander Inuit input is behind the whole thing. However, the architect’s name, position and company is Janina Zerbe, Architect and Partner, KHR Architecture, Copenhagen. She’s not known to have any Inuit ancestry. Her firm is quite influential within Danish governing bodies.
But, of course, my being a non-Greenlander, it really is none of my business and so I will cease being a Karen about it. LOL!

Good mornin’, Lucille! I’ve never seen this falcon, but we have some hawks in this part of the world that I’ve seen in action and that was impressive enough. I can only imagine what this must be liike in real life. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Hi, Texan! My friend who sent the falcon vid also wrote that all birds have control of their individual feathers, not just the whole wings.
Even though my friend is an uber knowledgeable human, I still checked out the info and found this from AI…
“Yes, birds have remarkable control over their individual wing feathers. This ability allows them to optimize their flight performance by adjusting the shape and area of their wings in real-time. The muscles surrounding the feather follicles enable birds to manipulate their feathers for better lift, maneuverability, and stability during flight. This fine-tuning is essential for various flying techniques, such as gliding and rapid changes in direction.”
I’m not going to tell him that I double-checked him! No point in insulting the highest IQ person I’ve ever met.

After i asked ai, it worked for the lambchop photo, & then I did a comment with the other 3 lamb photos, but the whole comment does not show up. Is there a limit on number photos per comment. I forget. I was also using 2 spaces between photos – or is that for videos?

never mind – they showed up – the little lambs were just lost for a while 😄😄
I should be straightened out now for future pics – it’s been a long time!

Good mornin’, and happy Sunday. Coffee is urgently needed, as apparently this was a working weekend, according to the President.. This bad boy will brew over 18 gallons per hour, so that should cover every thing. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee. Don’t be late for church.

Wow 18 gallons – & it looks so compact! Hmmm… I read if the coffee or tea gets over 500 degrees, the mold may break down – I wonder how hot this gets?
Thanks Tex – have a good day!

Consider he was explaining why the Muslims don’t want “unconditional surrender” because in their religion and ethos those words mean enslavement and rape of their women and children. Muslims did it in history, and on Oct 7. These people who do not live in our western world, or define words and actions the way we do, can only react under their laws.
Barbarians.

Okay, that makes sense. I think the Muslims do believe that and he was explaining that. It did come across weird, though.

I don’t think so. He says, “And everyone knows that.” It doesn’t seem to me that he is explaining something about the Muslim culture.

He also says, that would require nuclear weapons, and “we’re moving towards that.” Doesn’t make sense to me.
