Is the attack on Iran in our national interest?

We are hearing some in the media and politics claim that the USA is doing the bidding of Israel, and that the attack on Iran does not benefit the people of the United States. Besides being obviously anti-semitic, it is just plain wrong.

Example, Megyn Kelly saying that it’s all about the Jews (see the names she lists as supporters of the war: Ben Shapiro, Mark Levin, Miriam Adelson):

On the other hand, listen to what Steve Witkoff had to say on the Hannity show last night. Iran had enough material to make 11 nukes in 3 weeks:

These savages believe martyrdom is a ticket to paradise and dragging the Great Satan down with them is the ultimate flex. They don’t fear retaliation; they crave it.

That’s not speculation; that’s what they preach publicly while their engineers quietly crossed the 90% threshold. President Trump didn’t “start” a war. He ended the suicide pact that we have been sleepwalking toward.

Another major benefit is shutting down a major source of petroleum to China.

And Marco Rubio explains further:

“No one should have to die for a foreign country.” Kelly was taken off my subscription list some months back because I frankly could not stand listening to her voice anymore. It didn’t have anything to do with her incredibly stupid “dying for another country” commentary.

How many American men died to liberate France on June 6th, 1944? How about defending the UK during that same war? Or South Korea in the 50s? I’m assuming she’s totally against defending Taiwan or Japan in our present decade.

Now, if she’d consistently been a conscientious objector from the beginning, that’d be a different story. But all of a sudden she’s against supporting our allies to rid the world of the type of dictators who viciously torture women thrown in prison for not wearing a piece of cloth over their heads?

Well, I’m glad Saddam Hussein and his sons are dead. And certainly the same for the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

I’ll continue to pray for our men and women in this conflict but I’m sure never going to disparage their sacrifices should they fall.
