Good morning, Texan! Though Hollyhock House was quite close to where I lived in the 1960s, I never got over there to go through it. Don’t know why because I love looking at the photos. Here’s the wonderful fireplace….

Two Circus Lions in Love Finally Find Freedom —Together | The Dodo
One of the commenters named Kristin wrote: “I looked them up. They lived 7 beautiful years together in the sanctuary. Tanya passed in Aug 2025 and then 1 month later Tarzan passed. Clearly he couldn’t live without his love. I’m so grateful they experienced life in freedom, without abuse and together for those 7 years. Thank you to those caretakers and rescuers for giving these beautiful souls a real chance at life, may they rest in peace together.”

Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! Since the hockey dudes have gone back to work, I did as well. No one clapped for me though! I found a real fancy machine for this morning. Not a lot of details, but it looks pretty ritzy. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Mornin’ All. Nice day here. Just cool, about 39* and partly sunny. Hope the rest of the country’s weather improves. Have a nice day.

We’re hoping for one of those cold, dreary days soon. It’s 83* right now. That’s too dang hot for any chili. Carpe’ on, y’all! 😉
