    Good mornin’, and happy Friday! Just be glad that you’re not part of the Royal Family and have to make excuses for your crazy uncle. I found out where all the pennies have gone………they turned into this hammered copper coffee pot……with an Eagle. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

    Afternoon All. It did snow last night and so we got a half inch or so and it is still snowing lightly now. Don’t know how long this will go on. The snow that had been on the ground had melted slightly and then refroze and so this morning I had to put on my cleats to take Loki out. It was pretty treacherous, but the cleats work well.

    Hope your weather has cleared up, but I did just hear of some tornadoes. Be careful anyway.

      Afternoon, mom! Snow is just starting here, and the wind is blowing hard! Just went out to bring in the trash cans, without my coat, and just about froze.

      Good afternoon, aus! It’s a sunshiny day in northern Idaho. Some snow still on the ground where the sun doesn’t hit much. The weather reports keep changing from snow showers in the next week or so, to just cloudy days. So, who knows?

      Thank goodness we don’t need cleats here. Take care!

      Not being on X, I couldn’t read the replies. Anything that really stood out?

      I bet no one wrote that they sang Karaoke with Bob Conrad at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City in the 1970s. LOL!

        There are too many unique responses, but I’ll try to pick out a few:

        I was the only photofinisher on earth developing and printing rolls of color film for the 1980 Winter Olympics overnight at Rainbow Photo in Plattsburgh, NY. 300 rolls a day for the two weeks.

        Fly 200ft off the deck in a C130 in the desert to deliver parts and people to field repair a fighter jet.

        Woke up in Mexico with no money, or wallet in 1990. I started the night on South Padre Island TX, 25 miles away. The boarder guard said,” They let you live.”

        I crashed an express train into a nuclear waste flask. For real.

        Being saved at age 17 from a smaller merchant vessel in the middle of the North Sea during a heavy January storm in 1983…brought to and stayed a night at an oil platform. First flight ever was on a rope under a Helicopter..

        Received a personal apology from Henry Kissinger.

        Replaced a high voltage insulator inside a particle precipitator at a steel mill coke plant

        Lived through a volcanic eruption and a typhoon at the same time

        I once sat at a kitchen table with a Pope. I sworn I would burst into flames.

        Had a beer with Bob Dylan and George Harrison at the Palomino Club, LA, 1987
