Good mornin’, ernn! We have indeed made it to the end of a hectic week. Put your feet up and grab a cup of coffee, sir.

Good mornin’ Tex! Boy, that was some week wasn’t it! Thank you for the coffee and that breakfast spread is just what is needed on this brisk seven degree morning. Thank you, sir!

Good mornin’, Lucille! I think all those places are stunning, but I would choose any but Hi-Wy-Ya because they are taxing everything you touch and breathe out there now if you’re visiting……all to save the world from glo-bull warming. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good day, Texan! How to screw up tourism…just tax everything and then misspend what you gather. Seeing as none of the predictions of gloom and doom haven’t come true, you’d think the leftie faithful would stop and question. Guess that’s too much to ask.

Mornin’ all ya’all! Did not freeze here last night for the first time in over a week. However, it will go back to freezing again tomorrow, for another week. Terribly cold Carnival.

Mornin’ All. It is almost 40* here this morning. It evidently rained last night and there are puddles all over and water dripping off the roof. This is an interesting winter.
Lucille, those are beautiful places to visit in the winter. Hope everyone has power and is safe and warm.

Good mornin’, and happy Friday! Thankfully, we’ve made it to the end of a rather brisk week of cold and snow, but POTUS is up there like the Energizer Bunny twisting arms and going to the movies! I brought out an old face this morning in case you wanted to do the combo thing. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

This multi-tasker is always a favorite. !’m glad you didn’t get rid of it for lack of storage what with all the makers you’ve accumulated. If you’re handy at putting together some nice wood cabinets to house makers and mugs, Mrs. T would probably appreciate your getting at it since I’m sending over a pair of these…

My husband and I were talking about that yesterday. We had maybe 50 or 60 geese at the pond, and a bunch of robins in the field behind our house.

Mornin’ Wee! I hadn’t thought of that, must be a bit confusing for them if the cold weather lasts for a while.

Mornin’ Ernnburn! I feel bad for ’em – there’s been no food or water available for a week now (at least locally.)

That there’s a true fact! We had a female cardinal that flew into your front storm door the other day so hard, trying to get in the house, that she joined some MN folks in meeting their maker.

I would like to have one of those croissants for breakfast this morning.

Good day, Czarina! The most fun at work is when the boss provides breakfast croissant sandwiches for the executive committee meeting and there are enough leftovers that you get lunch for free.
Big wigs and show business is fine, but in every day life they look ridiculous. Escape the inclination, please…

Good mornin’, Miss Stella! Stay inside out of the cold. It was above freezing here this morning, but we are likely getting another chilly blast starting this evening and through the weekend.

A PUZZLE POSSIBLY SOLVED
I’ve always washed produce quite well with water before consumption. However, after running across a YouTube advert re washing produce properly, I’ve come to the conclusion that the two virus episodes late last year that sent me to the Urgent Care were because the Walmart produce had viruses that were not easily cleaned off with water. I remember one incident where Walmart sent radishes with globs of mud on them.
Urgent Care could not determine what the virus was but it was not Covid. I’m pretty much confined to my apartment, go nowhere except to doctor offices, virtually see no one for months at a time. So the usual physical contact with humans was non-existent and it’s been a puzzle how in the world I caught such an awful virus, especially since I’m rather obsessive about washing my hands after I open any delivery from the outside world.
This is what AI has to say about it….
How Contamination Occurs
Produce can become contaminated with viruses at several points from the farm to the consumer’s table:
This is probably old information to most Stellars, but honestly I never thought about viruses glomming onto our produce before.
