Good mornin’ Tex! Must’ve needed it as I fell back to sleep this morning. Multiple cups of hot black coffee is first on the agenda. Thank you, sir!

Good morning to all the early birdies, Lucille, Ernnburn, Tex, and Menagerie,
Beautiful landscapes this morning, including one of Stella’s signature castles. It’s majestic, but imagine living there, in a stone building on icy slopes, with only fireplaces for heat. Brrr.

Good morning Reflection! I’m not one of the early birds. I’m sure you already figured that one out, though.

Good afternoon, Stella,
You may not be an early bird, but you are the wind beneath their wings at Stella’s Place.

Mornin’ All. It is foggy and damp outside and not too cold.
I guess I am not over whatever bothered my tummy and I got really sick last night and finally lost my dinner. I am better this morning, but not great. My granddaughters told me that this evidently has a long incubation period. I guess so.
Hope none of you get this. So, enjoy the day wherever you are.

My daughter is sick with some kind of bug she can’t shake. She has a telemedicine appointment this afternoon. I have been in self isolation since Christmas, so I am not sick (fortunately). I caught my last bug in November at the doctor’s office.

Good mornin’, Lucille! That was pretty neat. Just a reminder that no matter how cool or famous you are, we’re not all that different. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good day, Texan! Love these type retrospectives. Found one on President Trump and will post it down below if I saved the link somewhere.

Good mornin’, and happy hump day! Some days you just want to be around familiar settings, so today I brought back one of my favorite coffee making machines. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

This article was attached to the coffee maker. Take a minute to read about how the other side lives. Maybe a daycare owner or two, even.

Also, that refrigerator is almost as big as the whole wall of my kitchen where my refrigerator is!

I think that fridge is even bigger and fancier than the one SanFranNan showed us with her $20 ice cream during the corona.

No kidding. Way, way back, at the beginning of my career, I used to sell, among other things at that job, Sub Zero refrigerators. I’ve always wanted one of those, but I’m guessing after 40+ years the quality may not be what it once once.

Bet Tex had to dig deep to afford that one for us.
But, it is part of a limited edition of 100, so it should hold its value, unlike most of the other appliances.
Generous, that’s our Tex.

Line up y’all, breakfast is coming out of the oven in less than 20 minutes! It’s oeufs cocotte today for a more low carb kickoff.

Good morning Menagerie! That looks delicious. I haven’t eaten yet, and eggs are a good idea.

Stella,
I did try a microwave omelet recently. It was reasonably good; it was certainly quick. I need to work on the technique, because it was just a little tough.
Menagerie’s oeufs cocotte is another dish I need to try.

I start with a generous amount of chopped up ham. But I have decided to try this with some really good sausage I have. It’s a little trouble to make, so I’m not sure I want to add the step of browning sausage. I don’t like putting bacon in it. Now matter how crisp you get it, it comes out soggy. That was in the original recipe I found.
Rarely do I find a recipe that I stick with and make over and over, but this one is a fave. It’s sure perfect for an individual serving. Although I did buy a big enough pot to do a couple of eggs and have plenty of room for meat and the other ingredients.

Morning czarina! Fine lineup today. I never had a pet that would tolerate “dressing up”.

We had an orange tabby cat when I was young. We used to dress him up in doll clothes. He never seemed to mind. Maybe he was just happy to have a home and attention.

I once had a male orange tabby cat that was the sweetest cat I have ever known (he gave hugs), but I never tried to dress him up.

Good mornin’ Czarina! Never again did I have a hot pastrami sandwich as good as when I lived in NYC, it’s a high bar to overcome.

For many years we had a killer Jewish delicatessen run by a man from NY. I sure miss that place. I bet it was open 50 years or so. I’d love to visit a really good New York deli if I could transport in and out like Star Trek. I really don’t want to make another trip that far. And then there’s the city ick factor. I tend to really dislike all cities. Including the one I live in.
